Yeah... I'm gonna use this thing against them... Hehehe...

L3X leaves the room before the Scord can arrive. He makes him way to the next location. Will the Scord intercept him on the way?

surprisingly, he made it to the next room using clever tactics like hiding in closed closets(Scord ships have closets?) and using the vents(and vents, too? O.o). you know, Not Standard Spy Stuff That Every Enemy Should Check Before Concluding A Spy Is Not In The Room. certainly it isnt.

anyway L3X made it to the next location, only having to take out three scord with their own weapon.

he was right, it was powerful. and versatile, he found out. that last one he had cut down with an energy blade not unlike his ether blade.

L3X:

Once again L3X is not very lucky. This isn't the engine room, either. But instead of the enging room he found something better. It's some sort of control room that indicates where the fusion reactor is.

Hm... Sure, destroying a few engines might make this thing crash. But if I can get to the reactor room, I could blow it up. It's on the other side of the mothership, but it seems to be worth it. It will take me about half an hour to get there...

L3X leaves the room. His next target are the fusion reactor rooms.

(What happens next? o.o)

and he has to rush. he's taken longer than he expected, and L3X has only about forty minutes to blow this ship up, and escape, while escaping the ship.

it might not be worth it to destroy the mothership if L3X dies.

Odius:

   The ship exploded, Odius had already found some cover, luckily. The blast collapsed the near buildings around him. He seemed to be sealed off from Tikoja completely. Surprisingly, Odius, was not covered in debris from the building. Several pieces of metal and roofing, provided some protection from the other debris. The down side to this, was that there was no way out, unless he were to smash through.

There must be some way out? My arms are still hurting from before.

   Odius looked around, maybe there might be a manhole. It was a town, so there must be some kind of sewage system. He continued to search for one, but the lack of light made it quite hard.

L3X:

L3X is 5 minutes away from the fusion reactor room. He's running as fast as possible, cutting every Scord that comes close to him in half.

I'm not gonna make it back to a VS-Craft if I don't turn back now...

L3X needs from his current position 15 minutes back to the VS-Craft. If he were in the fusion reactor room, it would be 20 minutes, but he has only 10 minutes left. L3X stops for a moment.

But what if I...

L3X looks at the floor. He takes a good look, a very good look at it. In fact, he's scanning it.

Hmhmhm... This should work out.

L3X continues his way to the fusion reactor. 5 minutes later he arrives. He immediately activates all the controls and changes the fusion reactors working scheme. Surprisingly the technology is very similar to the one developed on earth.

They will overload in slightly less than 10 minutes. Now it's the time to get out...

L3X has no other choice to escape the mothership. He activates SP-Mode. He rushes into midair. Channeling his full energy he releases an energy beam straight towards the bottom. And not just that! He flies right after his won beam, powering it up more and more, breaking through the armor plating of the mothership. Metal and plastic fly through the air as L3X passes through the vaious floors. Suddenly he comes along a very heavily armored floor. It takes him a moment until he breaks through it, but it's way too short for the Scord to follow L3X and actually do something about it. L3X breaks through the very bottom of the mothership, leaving him still 7 minutes to get away as far as possible. First he rushes vertically downwards, but then he uses his newly gained SP-Mode power to fly and abruptly changes his direction to a total horizontal direction. He's flying as fast as possible to escape the explosion and so the mothership doesn't drop onto him when it falls from the sky. Soon he manages to get away from beneath the mothership and it's not even one moment too early... The fusion reactors explode in the distance. L3X turns around not to miss this spectacular show. He's flying pretty much backwards and still away from the mothership which slowly starts catching fires everywhere and descending.

It is... done.

Odius:

What Odius didn't notice was that he was being followed. At one moment where he doesn't pay attention to his surrounding, he gets a heavy hit on his head with a lead metal pipe. Odius passes out.

When Odius regains consciousness, he realizes that he's in a bed. How long has he been out? Hours? Days? Weeks maybe? At least it seemed long enough that his arms have almost fully recovered. They are still in bandages and hurt a bit, but Odius feels that the strength has returned to them. Suddenly a woman enters the room. She looks like tough fighter, but still having a very erotic female touch to her.

Ah... You're finally awake. I thought you were never going to wake up.

[Vell]

(i have an idea on Odius's whereabouts)

and so it was. L3X stopped flying. he landed, and looked around. he thought about how he saw the fires catching, and figured he'd just destroyed a lot of good area. but he stopped the Scord, so that was a plus.

unless... how often did the Scord have a backup plan?

(I like where this is going  . Oh and I put a little dream in there while he was knocked out. )

Odius:

   Odius was looking for this manhole, when suddenly everything went black. It seemed he had fell into a deep sleep, he started to dream.

Dream:

   There was a bright flash of light, then he awoke in a grassy field. He got up and look around, but he noticed he wasn't seeing everything at his regular height. Odius look down at his body, and surprisingly it resembled one of a child. At that moment he had a strong feeling he was dreaming. Seconds later, he heard a voice of a little girl.

Odius! Odius! Hurry!

   He turned around and saw the little girl running. He started to follow her right away. As he was following her, he remember a little girl from his childhood, her name was Amy. They shortly arrived at a small town, and it was under attack!

Amy!? Whats happening

  When he called her name, he was trying to figure out if it was really her.

Yes, Odius, your parents are looking for you.

   Everything went blurry for several moments, and when it cleared, he was with his mother and father.

Son, the town is under attack. We must leave now!

   Odius was picked up, by his much larger father. His dream went blurry again, and this time, he was in an alley. His father was jumping down a manhole. Odius heard a scream! He saw Amy, she was running for her life. He had the urge to go help her, but he couldn't move. A shot was fired! Amy, came crashing into the ground.

End Dream.

   Odius suddenly woke up. He was in a bed? This was odd, someone must have found him when he blacked out. His arms were properly bandaged up, and weren't really hurting anymore. Odius was approached by a women, she looked strong and confident, and oddly attractive.

Ah... You're finally awake. I thought you were never going to wake up.

   He got up, and stood in front of the women. He was much larger than her, which made him wonder how she got him here, if she was the one to do the task.

How did you get me here? You know... with you being so small and all.

   Odius gave her a smile, and sat down on the bed.

Tikoja:

   Tikoja was going to be stubborn about this. His leg however was bleeding to a fatal point. He'd need to bandage it up but he wouldn't have that luxury here, he suspected. He knew something had to be done but he was to lazy to come up with a good plan. He'll have to bear it through and hope for the best.

Fuck! You call that persuasion, you damn cowards! If I wasn't strapped to this chair I'd kill you all! You know you're nothing alone compared to me! You guys are too damn scared to face me solo. So you know what I have to say about me giving you information? FUCK YOU! Damn spineless lizards.

Tikoja:

The general only kept looking at Tikoja for a moment. This strong will is like nothing he has ever seen before...

... I am not sure if you can spell my name, but I am General Yxeedryla.

(Spell it like I-X-EE-DRE-LA)

General Yxeedryla presses a few button on his console. Suddenly Tikoja is set free. There are no restraints binding him to the chair-like object he's half-laying on. Tikoja is first confused for a moment while he slowly stands up.

You are a special individual, just like that android L3X. Perhaps we should change our plans... Instead of trying to take the resources from your planet for our purpose, you humans might be way more useful as allies...

General, we just received a transmission. One of our motherships has been destroyed. We don't know the cause of it yet, but it seems that the android L3X is solely responsible for this action.

L3X destroyed one of our motherships? ON HIS OWN?! This android is remarkable...

Not entirely, but there are only two minutes left until the fusion reactors blow up. In fact they should be about to explode right as we speak.

Incredible... Maybe the human race would really be more useful as ally. Those losses we are enduring might not be worth the resources we need from their planet...

Tikoja is just listening for now.

I will call off the invasion. There is no point in invading the planet, suffering heavy losses and kill a potential ally that can help us more than the resources would. This fighting spirit the humans have is incredible. They would rather suffer or die than to give up their hopes and believes. Send out a planetwide signal for retreat. We are calling the attack off.

Yes, sir. What about "it"?

I am not sure... Leave it on the planet. We might need more information on the humans. It was definitely a mistake not to consider them to be allied with as first.

Aye aye, sir.

You, take this human to the infirmary. Use the protein regenerator to heal his wound. After that give him a VS-Craft and let him return to his planet.

Yes, sir.

Tikoja is not capable of fighting so he lets the Commando take him to the infirmary. Furthermore, he isn't being treated as prisoner anymore. After half an hour in the infirmary and the protein regenerator Tikoja's wound is fully healed. For a moment he's amazed what Scord technology is capable of. No wonder they were able to keep Earth under siege for so long.

Please come with me, human.

L3X:

Whatever it was, it's seemed to be just half-assed.

The attacking signal is gone.

Instead a retreat signal was sent all over the planet. For now the Scord are stopped. But the battle for L3X seems to be just about to start... From the ruins of the burning and still partially exploding mothership something is emerging, something huge. Could it be another bio weapon? Or is it a giant mech? And how did it survive the crash?!

[Vell]

a pulse flew out from the thing. really, it nearly lifted L3X from the ground - it set the wind to a turmoil. then another. and a silence crept. the wind died. the thing still seemed to pulse, but nothing seemed to happen.

it was all very confusing. L3X couldn't make out what it was. yet.

and among all, L3X sensed BioE approaching. well, he wasn't really sure it was BioE, but the Biologically created Elf would tend to show up when the signal L3X was emitting even then grew stronger, if last time was any indication.

it was a giant metal box, that Must have grown in size since the mothership was destroyed, based on its general height. L3X also thought he saw the metal, and other destroyed material, from the mothership was being absorbed into it. he watched the spectacle, suddenly unable to think of a course of action.

another, stronger pulse came out and tore grass from its roots, toppled a tree somewhere, and even sent L3X flying a meter or two into the dirt. when L3X stood the metal box seemed to invert and implode, like what you'd imagine a star would do right before going supernova.

then a - well, not exactly a roar, nor exactly a sound... a feeling, really - a loud feeling shot forth from the creature. and L3X felt the presence of mind from the thing despite being an android.  what was it? he still couldn't make it out with all the dust flying everywhere. well, dirt flying everywhere, actually.

Tikoja:

   Tikoja scratched his head. He followed the Scord to where a VS-Craft was. This was going to be tough to explain to the higher-ups. How'd it stray so far from just trying to retrieve Odius? He wondered how the higher-ups would react. He wondered if they'd believe him. Such stories would get him put in a looney bin he figured. His thoughts continued to drift on until he realized he had no idea where Odius was. He had several options when he returned to Earth. He could track Odius, he could return to the rebel forces, or he could track down the android L3X that the scord mentioned. From what he heard, L3X was an important person involved in this. Tikoja sighed, why did he sign up for the army again? He decided to track L3X once he was on Earth. An android of that strength shouldn't be too hard to find, right?

[Blizzard]

Tikoja:

The Scord Commando accompanied Tikoja to the VS-Craft.

I wish you a safe flight. Let me just quickly show you how to operate it. First you need to enter a passcode which prevents the autopilot from returning the CS-Craft back to the assigned fleetship or mothership.

The Scord gives Tikoja some more instructions on how to fly the VS-Craft.

And don't forget. It generally keeps itself in the air, you only have to fly it. It's much simplier to operate than your aircrafts.

Tikoja is about to depart from the fleetship. He has decided to track down L3X so now would be the time to ask the Scord commando if he knew where L3X is or for a way to track him down.

L3X:

L3X has a hard to see what's going on so he decides to burst up in the air while still in SP-Mode to try to get a clear look from the sky. He actually dares to slowly approach the heavy metal object.

Tikoja:

   Tikoja wasn't really paying attention to the Scord. He was worried about his parents. He looked at the Scord and decided he'd ask it about L3X and it's wherabouts. And just when the Scord was about to leave, Tikoja decided to ask.

I overheard you guys talking about a L3X... Do you know where I can find it?

[Vell]

the large thing was much smaller, and L3X felt some form of a scanner go through him, and then stop before he could interfere with it, if he has that kind of technology at his disposal.

the metal, now fully in L3X's vision since hte dust settled, starting forming itself into something. it looked something like an android. then it shifted more, and metallic wings grew from it, and what appeared to be the same energy as the kind from his Ether Blade sprouted out of it. L3X noticed the metallic thing had created a field around itself in much the same fashion as the flight part of L3X's SP Mode.

it flew up near L3X. for some reason, L3X felt curious about the creature, and knew the creature felt curious back.

what would L3X do about this creature?

Tikoja:

We have been tracking that android for quite some time now. The first time we encountered him was when he destroyed our bio facility in Verlorener Himmel. Here, take this device. I'll just get another. It pretty much shows his position and the energy he's emmiting. It just gets nasty when he goes into low-power mode like when he took down our mothership...

Tikoja now has the means to track L3X down. He boards the VS-Craft and departs. What is his next target.

L3X:

I have never seen anything like this from the Scord... It's almost... beautiful...

L3X decides to follow the flying mech.

but it isn't going anywhere. jsut studying L3X. a marvel, and as L3X studied it, he sensed other similarities beside the energy field and Ether. it seemed to be able to duplicate a number of L3X's abilities. combatal and otherwise. not all, strangely. nothing L3X could sense in it showed a copy of L3X's ability to restart himself.

L3X simply could not tell what the thing was, other than that it was purely metal.

the thing slowly turned its head to examine the ground below, and L3X realized a lot more time had passed than he thought. he also never remembered havign such curiosity before.

and BioE showed up. strangely, that didn't seem as imperative as L3X knew it should.

how would L3X respond?

L3X:

Getting so close to it L3X realized how small it actually was. It seemes gigantic from the far, but now it seems to be maybe only twice as big as L3X. It actually seems to be getting smaller. Was it getting smaller all the time? L3X realizes that this pretty much defies all physical laws and logic.

Even BioE's appearance didn't startle L3X. L3X noticed it, but he actually pretty much ignored BioE and focused on this weird being. Oddly enough L3X didn't try to analyze it with any kind of scanners, he was only watching it and thinking about it. L3X could have snapped out of it anytime, but he didn't want to. He has never seen something intriguing as this in his entire "life".

Tikoja:

   Tikoja pilots the VS-Craft, and surprisingly, it indeed was a lot easier than piloting some of the aircraft that humans had developed. Tikoja looks at the device and tries to figure out L3X's location. He sighed, he thought this would be easy. It seemed far from it. He continued to fly the VS-Craft towards where he thought the device was indicating where L3X was.

the thing apparently thought the same of L3X as emotions seemed to flood L3X's artificial mind. making some sense of them, after a while - he was stunned to stillness for a second, shockingly - he came to the conclusion the thing was wondering what L3X was.
