Aveyar clenched his fists as he saw the woman Faeleen's back.
a slave.... Rage boiled through him. This was the most beautiful woman he'd ever laied eyes on, and she was a slave. Beaten down to submission, taught to fear her master's wrath more than she feared death itself. Death would be the easy way out, if a Faeleen slave angered their master.
Aveyar ignored the men, and ran after the Faeleen. He helped her to her feet, and turned her face towards him. He looked her in the eyes, and spoke softly, but firmly.
Quote from: AveyarNo...you don't have to go back to your master. Stay with me, I will protect you.
He turned towards the man named Koji.
Quote from: AveyarI see you know of me.
Aveyar held out his hand, and knocked the man to the ground with Impact, and Focused gravity on him. The man was pinned, and Aveyar leaped towards him, landing next to him.
Don't kill him, just scare him.Quote from: AveyarYou should also know something else. I've grown MUCH less patient with people recently.
He laughed darkly, and released the Magic. He still had a fair amount within him, but he should conserve it in case he actually needed to fight. Using it could easily intimidate people, but he'd rather be considered weak than be dead.
Aveyar walked back to the woman, standing between Koji and her. He would not let any harm befall her. He would protect her. What use was he if he couldn't even protect his own kind? He turned towards this Makosikumari, and folded his arms.
(I'm going to say the door is open, and you're watching us that way, Chaze

)
Quote from: AveyarI don't drink. If I did, I might accidentally kill someone. Plus I don't trust any drink I haven't prepared myself.
Aveyar chuckled.
Quote from: AveyarBut I do agree with you, this man is obviously inferior, even to most members of his own race.
His voice lowered, suddenly serious.
Quote from: AveyarPeople like him...they're little more than beasts.
He would put them in their rightful place one day...and that day was coming soon. Apparently his reputation as a powerful mercenary had grown, so recruiting allies might be easier. But what of an army? How many men would follow a Faeleen, no matter how capable. He needed that shapeshifting monster. He needed a figurehead, and she would most likely be able to provide it.
