Aveyar grunted. He had perfect reason to judge. Not all humans were evil, or cruel. That much he knew. His foster family, with the exception of the brother that had betrayed him, had been good people. Kirema had saved him, even though he was a Faeleen. And he wasn't quite sure what to think of Yak. The man confused him, he attacked, then left and dropped a handkerchief on Aveyar.

Regardless, he had his reasons for what he did. Humans had hunted him his entire life. They stole his life from him, and treated him like a beast. He would show them that he wouldn't be their tame pet anymore. He would be the master, and claim the destiny he deserved. And allow other Faeleens to live the lives they should.

They would pay for how they made him live. They would bow to a Faeleen, one of the monsters they despised. And none of them would be able to stop him. Whether they used swords or words, they would not keep him from rising above the situation they'd cast him to. He would reclaim a better life than the one they'd stolen from him, no matter how many of them he had to cut down to do it.

Aveyar heard someone walk up behind him. He spun around. He was relieved when he saw it was only Kirema.

Klara exited the inn. She took a new form, a form she'd find entertaining. But before she did that, she'd need to be a safe distance away. While looking for an area to change, she saw Deio, the man who claimed to be the worm that attacked her awhile ago. She could kill him but he still had his uses. He'd serve to be the entrance for her new role. She shifted into a Faeleen, one that was scrawny and looked deprived. She carried Deio on her back and approached the inn. She yelled out,

Quote from: KlaraHelp!! I've found an unconscious man!!

Her appearance was that of a Faeleen so her public standing would be low.

Ziax:

Quote from: ZiaxWhat?? It's you again. So if you're not a zergling, what are you, a "Pokemon?"

Ziax then began scratching at the ground. he seemed to be scratching random lines, lines of nonsense.
he then began mutating spores of acid onto his back. he was mutating into a baneling, a process which could take some time.

Yak:

Yak, woke up quite early, it must have been just before the sun has risen. He walked down the stairs and saw the Innkeeper sleeping on a bed behind the counter. He went to go wake her up, but he was kind of curious to what she was wearing under the dress, he took a peak.

Quote from:  YakBetty, Betty, Betty.

He gave her a little shake to go with the calling of her name. She woke up.

Quote from:  YakGood, early, morning. How much for the room?

Quote from:  BettyOh, dont worry about it. Balden payed for it before he left.

Quote from:  YakBalden? Hmm. Wheres his wagon?

Quote from:  BettyIts out back. Have a good one!

She smiled, and then Yak smiled back. He walked out the door and headed to the back of the inn. There was a large wagon with a mule tied to it. Yak went to go see what was in it, there was a tarp covering it. He moved the tarp over and looked inside, there was mining tools, and explosive. Whitey, flew around to the back of the inn, landing on the shoulder of Yak.

Quote from:  YakEh, Whitey, you ready to go?

Whitey let out a screech, and took flight again, leading the way. Yak, hopped on the back of the mule, it was actually large for a mule. It seemed to be very strong, it must have been a professional mule. It sounded funny to Yak, but it had to be true. He directed the mule to the road, but it already knew where it was going. They had another eight hours of traveling left, there was a direct path to the town.

Kirema looked into Aveyar's eyes and saw in it the reflection of life. He too shared that bond with him, and from that moment on he swore that's the only bond he'd ever need.

"Aveyar. I look upon you as a comrade, and a valuable one at that. I can tell you have pride and are easily swayed by such things liek anger...."

Kirema sighed and walked towards the room, beckoning Aveyar to follow.

"I want you to promise me though, to let yourself be free from this rpide. It can only consume you. I see you have a hardened heart, but a heart that's hardened feels the wind worse when it begins to break. I want you to remain strong. All I ask is this: Control the anger and use it for justice. You only fufill those misplaced feelings for your people, you only tighten the noose round your neck by paying them attention and with every retort you heed to the violence they feel you have in you. no man nor Faeleen is impregnable. You yourself must rise up and gain freedom from the vice humanity has created around your neck. I see it already, the effects of a tormented heart. I promise to guide you, if you would only promise to follow my words. This is all I ask..."

Kipp shrugged a bit, and rocked his head back and forth, like a Xatu would with his feather and sheen.

"All right," Kipp said, his head still moving around, "If you say so."

The tree is now having plenty of room after Ziax made a giant hiding place for it. Or something like that. Kipp just scurried out and found the dead man's coat. He loved that coat so much...It was a nice color, a brown color. Yet, it seemed to make a good hiding spot, especially in useless RPGs. Kipp went under the coat as usual and moved about. He walked away from the direction of Ziax, who seemed to be mutating. He didn't want to affiliate with that sort of thing, especially if it was contagious or something.

Kipp wanted to take a nap, but maybe somewhere more comforting. Scrambling all around, Kipp noticed the commotion somewhat calmed down...There weren't any guards or chaos at the moment...At least for now.

Aveyar grunted. Why in the world were so many people preaching to him tonight. First a madman claiming Faeleens were the chosen people, then the monster moralized to him, and now Kirema was going on about how he need to control his anger. But he always tried to keep his control. It's just become harder with these Echos acting so strange.

Quote from: AveyarFine, I'll control my anger.

He took a few steps down the hall and stopped. He'd already been controlling the anger, all his life he'd fought it down, acting subservient as an effort to survive.

Quote from: AveyarBut remember, I did not kill the woman.

He sighed. He needed an ally, and Kirema seemed willing to be one.

Quote from: AveyarI still don't trust you, but I'll accept you as my companion. But first you must answer me one thing.

Aveyar was cut off by a woman screaming about an unconscious man. He shook his head, and continued. No one would want a Faeleen to help them anyways.

Quote from: AveyarWhy did you save me, and why do you even care about what I do?

Quote from: ???FAELEEN!!!

A voice screamed.

Aveyar ran down the stairs, this conversation would have to wait. He ran outside, and saw something he'd never seen. A woman Faeleen. He stopped, gaping in disbelief. A woman of his own kind. Her dark skin was soft and smooth looking, and there was a kind, if afraid, look to her blood red eyes.

Aveyar walked up to her, and stood in front of her, falling into a fighting stance.

Quote from: AveyarShe's with me. Anyone who touches her will die!

Aveyar used Focus to send out a pulse of red light. The humans that had gathered in fear, and the guards, dispersed. Aveyar was large and strong, even for a Faeleen, few of them wanted to fight him.

He turned towards the woman Faeleen and smiled.

Quote from: AveyarMy name is Aveyar, who are you?

Deio's POV:(first person//read this one at east twice my big plot twist starts here)

I woke to hear somone shouting for help. Then I remembered Mikey and I sat up. He was sitting not far away crying and it looked as if his tears were burning him where they fell but surely i must be mistaken however that picture remained with me the one i had seen while I was unconisioucs. I stood a said to my savior
Quote from: Deio(speaking)"thank you for what you did. God shal reward you highly aks of him and he shall give of it freely."
then I said to Mikey
Quote from: Deio(speaking)"come on for we have a long day infront of us and little nigt remains to offset our pains"
I noticed aveyar there but my head hurt so that i did not acknowlage him. Mikey followed me into the Inn a i assume did the faeleen who saved me. when we were inside the room hoping to catch him off guard i said
Quote from: Deio(speaking)"i know waht you are and who you work for. Does that not bother you?"
but Mikey looked at me dumbly. I laied down and slept.

Fallen Angel X

Klara sighed in relief. She'd have to play her role well now. She followed Deio while looking at Aveyar. She wondered how he'd react? It was going to be fun watching his reactions now.

Quote from: KlaraOh thank goodness! I was worried when I saw you unconscious. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to call for help since I'm a faeleen. Are you sure you're all right though?

She looked at Deio. He seemed fine, unfortunately. She disliked him. She would've killed him by now but he still had his purposes.

legacyblade

Aveyar smiled at her. She was beautiful, long flowing silver hair, and a slender build. Yet he sensed that she probably held the strength of a normal Faeleen, it was just more....compressed.

Quote from: AveyarOf course he's fine. He is a giant worm after all

Aveyar chuckled, trying his best to appear funny. He wanted her to like him, or at least be able to stand him. He looked at her, and smiled. He spoke in a soft friendly voice.

Quote from: AveyarBut you still haven't told me your name.

scoace13

Deios POV:
DEio awoke sometime later in the night he heard voices but hoes were just the vocies of the two faeleen talking. Day would come soon in fact the sun was already begining to rise.
Quote from: Deio(thinking)<guess It couldn't hurt to get up early.>
Deio sat up and went down stairs the girls faeleen said to him
Quote from: Faeleen???(speaking)"Oh thank goodness! I was worried when I saw you unconscious. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to call for help since I'm a faeleen. Are you sure you're all right though
?" he heard Aveyar respond but his mind was else where because for some reason he could not hear this person's soul...this oerplexed him and he thought
Quote from: Deio(thinking)<maybe this person has never sinned or been guilty of any wrong.odd though most everyone has...>

Fallen Angel X

Klara looked at Aveyar in disbelief. It was a ploy since she already knew who the man was but she'd have to act clueless. She was asked for her name.

Quote from: KlaraI don't have a name anymore. I'm but a Faeleen slave. I'm sorry but I must go. My lord is expecting me soon.

She didn't look Aveyar in the eye. She made herself appear ashamed. A slave would pull an interesting reaction she figured. She looked at him one last time before turning away. She tripped "accidentily" tearing her shirt at the back slightly revealing several scars. She got up quickly and ran out.

(Koji's PoV)

He looked at the Faeleen slave run. He approached Aveyar. He grinned darkly. This was the mercenary, Aveyar, the ruthless assassin. He'd enjoy messing around with him. He despised the Faeleens. He motioned for several of his companions to come close.

Quote from: KojiTch. Faeleens are such clumsy creatures. Of course, not you. You're the great Aveyar. You're different from your kind, the diamond hidden amongst coal. Y'know I deal with slaves so I know a good Faeleen when I see one. In fact the ones that I do find skilled end up being slaves for me. But after awhile, torture doesn't motivate them anymore and you're forced to execute them. Well anyways, the name's Koji. I plan on being the one who'll extinguish lower races. I'm thinking I'll kill Faeleens first. What do you think?

Chaze007

Makosikumari, a free liver was clothed in a dark brown robe, with fur boots and fur bracers, he was sitting in the corner of the Inn sipping at his ale. Mako overheard everything nearby, he kept his knife nearby just in case. Mako muttered under his breath.
Quote from: MakosikumarDamn humans, always think they're the best. Killing the lower races my ass.

Mako sat up, and walked towards Aveyar.
Quote from: MakosikumariHey, my name is Makosikumari, I heard a lot about Faeleens and how they are treated as slaves, never mind him he's a stubborn man who can't stand someone to be better than him. Would you like a drink?
Always I Wanna Be With You! Make Believe With You!

scoace13

Deio's POV:
deio was looking around for Mikey when he heard some guy start talking about faeleens as slave then another man came over and said sonthing as well thinking he might have a chance to make good on what he had told Aveyar he approached both men...and said
Quote from: Deio(speaking | angry)"if I were either one of you I would not insult thoese that god has placed above you...then again Im not you"

Fallen Angel X

Koji looked at Makosukimari. He couldn't help but feel offended, to be classified with the humans. It was despicable but he held his peace. For whatever reason, Mako thought he was human. Perhaps it was b/c he had his cloak on. He grinned.

Quote from: KojiHmph. I'd watch your words carefully. If you insult me anymore I will be forced to challenge you to a duel to prove my strength and honor. But a drink sounds like a good idea.

He looked at Aveyar. He was a Faeleen worth having as a slave. He wanted to capture him but a feat like that would be quite tough. He motioned for them to take a seat at the bar.

Aveyar clenched his fists as he saw the woman Faeleen's back. a slave.... Rage boiled through him. This was the most beautiful woman he'd ever laied eyes on, and she was a slave. Beaten down to submission, taught to fear her master's wrath more than she feared death itself. Death would be the easy way out, if a Faeleen slave angered their master.

Aveyar ignored the men, and ran after the Faeleen. He helped her to her feet, and turned her face towards him. He looked her in the eyes, and spoke softly, but firmly.

Quote from: AveyarNo...you don't have to go back to your master. Stay with me, I will protect you.

He turned towards the man named Koji.

Quote from: AveyarI see you know of me.

Aveyar held out his hand, and knocked the man to the ground with Impact, and Focused gravity on him. The man was pinned, and Aveyar leaped towards him, landing next to him.

Don't kill him, just scare him.

Quote from: AveyarYou should also know something else. I've grown MUCH less patient with people recently.

He laughed darkly, and released the Magic. He still had a fair amount within him, but he should conserve it in case he actually needed to fight. Using it could easily intimidate people, but he'd rather be considered weak than be dead.

Aveyar walked back to the woman, standing between Koji and her. He would not let any harm befall her. He would protect her. What use was he if he couldn't even protect his own kind? He turned towards this Makosikumari, and folded his arms.

(I'm going to say the door is open, and you're watching us that way, Chaze :P)

Quote from: AveyarI don't drink. If I did, I might accidentally kill someone. Plus I don't trust any drink I haven't prepared myself.

Aveyar chuckled.

Quote from: AveyarBut I do agree with you, this man is obviously inferior, even to most members of his own race.

His voice lowered, suddenly serious.

Quote from: AveyarPeople like him...they're little more than beasts.

He would put them in their rightful place one day...and that day was coming soon. Apparently his reputation as a powerful mercenary had grown, so recruiting allies might be easier. But what of an army? How many men would follow a Faeleen, no matter how capable. He needed that shapeshifting monster. He needed a figurehead, and she would most likely be able to provide it.

Starrodkirby86

And now Kipp skippitied-skip-skip around under his coat, deciding to not rest at this location. He thought it would be better to be nearby an area he can eavesdrop anything going on.

Running nearby a building there, he heard two people talking.
"So, what'd you do with Becky?" said the first man.
"Oh I got her good! She's going to be fine tomorrow, if you know what I mean!" responded the second man.
Kipp didn't want to hear anymore words of this.

Kipp ran around to another building. There were another two men.
"Okay! DROP YOUR PANTS AND LET'S SEE WHO WILL GETTA BONER FIRST!"
"YOU'RE ON MY MAN! YOU ARE SO GONNA LOSE!"
Kipp didn't want to see this too. In fact, he just Water Gunned them to stop this competition.

But now Kipp noticed an inn. He went under the coat and stopped near the entrance or something, see what happens. Whoever was nearby didn't notice the coat this time because it was drenched and dirtied with...dirt. So it's as if a mole was moving through underground, or a Diglett, a Sandshrew even.

Koji got up and off the floor. He clenched his fists. Several of his companions were ready to take charge but he motioned them not to. He looked Aveyar in the eye along with the slave. He knew what would become of them if Aveyar kept the slave with him. He'd be tracked down, he was stealing property of someone else's.

Quote from: KojiYou poor fool. You are a free Faeleen and you would risk your freedom for a slave like that? Perhaps I was wrong about you. You are no different to the rest of your kind. And by the way, don't dare think of attacking me. I'm well known myself. And to make things even better, I'm a noble. I have quite a bit of influence. Tell you what.. Hand the slave over to me and I'll make sure she's treated well. Now, I'd also like you to know I have quite a few companions in this inn with us.
