Mako quickly grips his dagger and unlatches his button keeping it under his coat ready, ready for anything. After all Mako knew Koji was related to humans somewhere down the line, and a noble nonetheless all stuck up, snobby and thinking they're better than everyone else.

Aveyar, whatever decision you make i'm right behind you, i'd be glad to rip the meat off of this scumbag.

Deio's POV:
deio was getting pretty angry...so angry infct that he "accidently" activated gravity flipand was slowly lifting this off the floor...he reached into his cloak and pulled out his staffblade(stillshethed so it looks like a staff) and sat down a closed his eyes and started praying. IN his prayer he said

" lord protect me from this anger of mine protect this man who tries tostand against your will this i pray I ask that you display your hand and prevent this fight"

Aveyar laughed. This man reminded him of himself, oddly enough. He didn't understand why he wanted to protect this woman. Why should he? After all, he could just take a stroll into Norampax, and find any number of women Faeleens. He wouldn't be able to change anything if he was dead, or forced into hiding.

Then he felt an Echo. It was powerful, pulsing through his entire body, forcing him to his knees.

You will not let her be taken.

The voice felt like an Echo, pulsing through his entire body. He couldn't think rationally. All he knew was that he could not allow this man to take her.

He folded his arms.

I don't care what your opinion of me is. The woman stays with me. I can kill soldiers if I have to, she will not be enslaved.

NO YOU FOOL!

Aveyar shuddered trying to fight the pulsing Echos.

No...this is...her lot in life!

He stood up, trying to ignore the protests and insults shooting through his body in the form of Echos. Whoever was inside his head obviously had a deep sense of idealism.

Just...promise me...

Then he lost control. A powerful Echo shot through him, overwhelming all of his senses. His eyes turned silver, and he felt himself walk towards the man.

No. I'm better than the rest of my kind.

Aveyar spread his wings, a small amount of Magic entered his body, and he began to use Focus to pulse with silver light.

I am not willing to sacrifice the others of my kind.

Aveyar shouted, the Echos pulsing through him imensly. He felt anger emanating from the presence that had taken over his body.

I've killed deities, nobles, kings, emperors, and even my own best friend's child. All of this I have done to stop oppression!

Aveyar struggled to regain his body. Whoever's mind was also inside his body was insane. He'd served men like that, who thought justice was worth any price. He would NOT be like that man.

I will not watch as this Faeleen who's body I inhabit tosses this woman's life away simply because it endangers him

Aveyar pushed the Echoes away, his eyes returning to their normal red color.

Sorry about that. A necromancer I killed must have come back to haunt me.

What Koji said made sense. If he was a noble, he could ensure that the Faeleen woman would not be beaten. But how do I know I can trust him?

But how do I know I can trust you? What guarantee do I have that she'll be treated well?

True, this man wasn't human, but that didn't mean he should trust him. He...didn't quite understand the feelings he had for this Faeleen woman. He didn't even know her, why did he feel the desire to protect her, and sacrifice himself for her?

But the desire was there all the same.

Mako stepped back a bit, still ready to fight, but a little startled.

Heh, that priest talks like a madman, god will not answer such a feeble attempt. Unless, you are someone special..in this land i can expect nonetheless.

Vyazar heard the whisper, though he was long away.

I wondered what it was.

something about a... fight...

"too often. what will happen?" I wondered, as he felt his energies being pulled again.

"words of a whisper." the sword pulsed. it shifted its form, becoming a magic. "Unreality ceases falsity." where did his words come from, I wondered. why was I speaking liek this. his thoughts thundered. "with the wings of the Eternity Born." his voice was clear, the voice Vyazar remembered from before becoming Eternity Born. I never thought I'd hear my voice ever again so clear. "the answer. no blood shall be spilt here, now, or ever. the players of the would be now unfurled are shifted as Reality fades into unreality and severs the truth of what was to be, bringing what is now." the sword became a sword again, and the Unreality accessed ended, and the noble slave-keeper, and his slaves, vanished to another place.

Deio's POV:

Deio opened his eyes after praying to see that the slaver noble and his Friend had dissappeared.
he stood and replaced his staffblade in his coak. He turned to the man who doubted him and said

"nothing is impossable for god. also i dont believe i got your name"

deio turned to the others Aveyar and Kirema and said

" If we leave this day, we should be going now"

Aveyar blinked, looking confused. The crazy man who claimed to be a giant worm must actually be a prophet! Or some sort of sorcerer. Unlike the Magic Faeleens used, the magic that humans had access to seemed to have very few rules. You could never predict what they could do. Regardless, Koji was gone. He stepped over to the Faeleen woman.

Come with us. Now that Koji isn't here, no one will know who you're with, or where you went. You can be free.

The feeling of fondness for her returned as he looked at her beautiful, but trembling, form. She looked up at him uncertainly, and he smiled.

please...come with us

He did his best not to appear desperate, he didn't want to scare her. Not that he'd done a very good job. After his being possesed, she probably thought he was insane, a demon...or maybe even both. He wasn't quite sure of the theistic practices of other Faeleens. Personally, he thought it was a demon who had taken control. A very strange demon who was concerned about injustice.

Kirema looked on with some dismay at his Faeleen friend and walked slowly towards him and the frail looking girl. He stepped behind Aveyar and said:

"I saved you because...It's not my place to take life anymore than it is to give it. The only life I have juristiction over is my own and with it I hope to be properous. You are but another person and to preserve my longevity I should surround myself with those who favor my company. I hope to see all that is to be seen. When you lived a life of books and then one of war, the strength gained from knowledge seems to spring forth as a boundless track while my life of war only lead to the destruction of the things I love...This girl....Is she well?"

the shapeshifter was controlling. she was a monster, I knew that. he called out, hoping his voice was clear as it was a moment before, "Klara..." but once again, it was the whisper of the winds speaking inaudibly.

   Klara had a lot to think about here. A great deal of events had occurred around her. She was however curious to Deio's ability. It was a threat to her and she'd need to have all threats silenced. She pondered quickly to see how she could take advantage of the situation. It would need to be simple and subtle. No it was to late for subtle. She began to speak in a trembling voice.

I.. What.. What are you?! You're a demon!

   Klara ran off. She'd plan something very interesting. An ambush that would seperate Deio from the group. Alone, he would be vulnerable. If they chased her it would set up Deio's downfall. That and she knew of places that could them down.

Deio said as she left

"If i be the only demon then gods judgement surely has no place. for she is without a soul and this worries me."

he turns to the others.

"let us make haste...for we have far to travle before the next Inn"

Where are you going? Can I come? I have noone else to travel with, and i can prove of a good use..also, I wish to learn more in the ways of god. I'll be outside awaiting your reply.

Mako walks down the hall and out the door. He leans against the wall listening to the wind, and the sounds of nature. Mako then notices an old dirty coat on the ground.

Hey, what's this?

Mako lifts the coat and under was a strange little blue creature.

Aww hey little fella' What're you doin under here, don't be afraid to speak i understand animalic languages.

Yak:

   Yak, Whitey, and the mule, have been traveling for longer than they thought. It seemed like every time they felt like they got closer, they are actually aren't any closer than they were ten minutes ago. The snow started to rain down on them harder, they must be getting close. The mining town was in the northern plains, so it was very snowy and it was also close to mountains. They made a stop at a small restaurant along the way, but it was very short and not important. They traveled for a little while longer, when they saw a sign.

Al Bern- The Mining Town

   Yak didn't know the name of the town, he just called it "mining town". They were obviously close now, unless it was an evil trick, to mess with the heads of the travelers. They should be there within the next half hour, Yak was excited to see what was going on in the town. Yak, was on a personal quest, he hasn't mentioned it yet but he was clearly going to finish it. He wanted to finish the quest him and Simo were on before he died. They were traveling deep into the Al Delma Mountains, there was a ice elemental there. They were planing on killing this creature and using its magical heart, the heart was able to enchant anyone or anything with ice magic. The town was just before the mountains, so it would be his temporary base grounds until his quest was over. The town was well equipped with items to continue the journay through the mountains. The town was only recently built up, they discovered valuable coal within the mountains.

Kipp noticed Mako.

"Crap, hide-and-seek is over, huh?" Kipp said. His head was bobbled all the way up to the fellow.

A little silence, now Kipp responded, "I was resting here. Not only the coat provides a nice snug pillow, the ground is actually quite comfortable. I love it...if I were to rate it out of a scale from 1 to 10, then I would give it an 8!"

A strange statement indeed from the Mudkip.

Deio's POV:

deio exited the Inn and saw the traveler talking to somthing he walked over to him and said

" If you are with us then make ready for I feel that we will soon depart this place."

he turned to walk away but stoped and said

" what is your name? I have yet to have heard it"

Aveyar's POV

No, come back!

Aveyar ran out the door after the Faeleen woman. He didn't want her to leave. True, he didn't know her, but he felt a longing to be with her. He'd never experienced something like this before. He'd never even seen a woman of his own kind, for that matter. He wouldn't let the madman claiming to be a giant worm scare her off!

He refused to believe it was him she'd called a demon. After all, it wasn't his "prayer" that had teleported the men away. He saw her hide in the bushes, his Faeleen eyes easily piercing the darkness.

What is she...?

Aveyar intended to find out. He sneaked of the road, blending into the night. Using Impact, he hovered along the surface of the ground, silent and nearly invisible. He came up behind her, looking at her quizzically. She seemed unaware of his presence. Maybe he years as a slave had dimmed her senses.

What are you doing?

Aveyar leaned in, whispering.

Hmm, little fella you seem all along don't you have any friends?

Mako picks up Kipp and holds him high

Heh, you're pretty cute with those big eyes and that shiny nose! Hey, I got a warm spot for ya, how's about you come travel with me little guy?

Mako pushes back his cloak and motions to his big fur pocket.

Kipp attempts to scream in his protest, but a friendly protest, "But Mudkips don't have shiny noses! I have proof!~ Just look at my Senior Portrait at Swampert High School!
