Theremin

Today, I was introduced to the coolest musical instrument I have ever seen: the theremin.

It was actually invented 90 years ago, but somehow has not gained enough popularity for everyone to know about it (perhaps because it is Russian).  It is an electronic radio frequency instrument: you play it by moving your hands closer of farther from two antennaes: no keys, no strings.  Check out some cool videos on youtube (just search theremin).

It kind of makes you wonder what else you haven't heard about...

Ah yes, that instrument. I remember looking at that months, months ago after a crusade of searching for strange instruments (Which kind of started from someone using tasers to play Super Mario Bros.)...

The theremin is really interesting, but I'm really annoyed when people considered it fake. I recalled looking at a Youtube video and some person commenting along the lines of "thats fake you can tell theres some person humming in the back"...

Idiots...-_-; But that's just Youtube of course. I suppose that's okay because it's YOUTUBE. XD Overall, I want to play one sometime...

Ah, that's because it wasn't actually a taser but something darn similar, the Tesla Coils.

Theremins are indeed awesome instruments. One of the best renditions of the Zelda theme I have ever listened to was a theremin piece.
