Sorry Blizz, but this is my official secession from the contest... I just can't focus on RMXP anymore right now... I tried to do too much in too little time, and now I'm regretting it.

Besides, if NAMKCOR's confidence is well founded, then I didn't stand a chance anyway.

So from here on in, consider my cheers to you, NAMKCOR, good luck.

Hooray, it has started.  And wow, the contestants just decreased by about a third. :(

Well, I look forward to judging the remaining contestants!

Just had my last final today. Now I can actually start working on the game. Well here is hoping that I can make a pretty decent game. and not lose to NAMKCOR's awesomeness. lol

Hmm...shall I write an ode to the epic fails of CW7...nah, not yet, I wanna see what this kid pulls out first.

Here's pretty much what I'm saying.  CW7 is going to think this is a "My c*** is bigger than yours* contest and make a heavily bloated game that overall is unplayable, while others will make simple games that have not only a good storyline, but good replay value.

Hopefully this produces some great new games, good luck to all of you.

I'd have joined myself, but I can't seem to stick to a project for long periods of time without getting writer's block...

I have mapper's block... I got the story all planned but I made only 2 maps. 2! GAH!!
Do you like ambient/electronic music? Then you should promote a talented artist! Help out here. (I'm serious. Just listen to his work at least!)

Don't make maps, plan them. When I get a mappers block I take a pen and paper and start drawing quick maps featuring exits, entrances and walls. When I have a structure, I only need to make the real maps according to the structure. I did Ember Volcano that way and it turned out great. It has over 20 maps. :D

I tried that and I made 3 small sized maps in an hour :D Now I only need the eventing left. Thanks :)

I wonder how this is going on other forums, where ABS stuff isn't very mainstream/noticeable...
