I created this zombie titlescreen for kicks and giggles...
I created a custom windowskin to match the title, and added a SE and a BGM...

**I fixed the error upon the shutdown command. Sorry :^_^':

Since no one plans to download it though, I will describe the title scene...

I started out with a blood pumping scream, but reduced it's pitch to transform the sound to belong to Nemesis. After the SE finishes playing, the BGS, BGM, and Title screen begin XD

That looks good - although my game is a little less bloody... ^-^; I like the sound of it but my internet is playing up so I can't DL... :'(

It isn't blood, it's a red misty fog...There is some blood on the star soldier's back, but that's about it =)

Oh, thank you very much!!

No, if I were making the Zombie game, then I would make it gory as hell! But I just threw that title together for kicks and giggles like I said...

Looking at it really intrigues me. It's actually a great title screen. Here's a few pointers I have to say about it though... (Criticism!? Oh no... :V: )

The level of blood and fog is really great. Though I feel you can amp it up a little or find some way to interact that redness with the background a lot more. Though doing this might ruin the Windowskin. This is the least of my concerns at least.

The text at the top-left, Nemesis, doesn't blend in with the background so so well. I can't explain it so well, so I thought of a visual example...though I'm not sure if this example is the best one. :P

New screenie up Kirby, does that blend more?? I even changed the text in the command menu XD.

P.S. You should download the DEMO and check out the title screen in action =)

Wow, the new text is sweeeet...Though I think you should have your own Pictures or something, who knows, to make it look...intimidating...blood-like. >:3

The text at the top left looks better, but Resident Evil is quite hard to read. Increase the opacity possibly. Maybe you should have accessories around it. It's not the accessories like the material object, but like symbols that makes it look nice. Of course that's not really needed.

I'll download it once I make sure of the computers I'm dealing with.

You don't have the WindowSkin inside the RPG Maker XP Project. So reupload the demo with that.


Also, nice use of the infamous Movie Scream. I used that in Aqua's FoA Demo as Arshes' death sound. To me now it's just humor... ._.;

Maybe you can apply your soon-to-come knowledge of RGSS and make your Zombie game even more epic! :V:

I have put a lot of thought into whether or not I should make this Blizz-ABS example game or not, and I am heavily leaning into the yes choice...

I will make a new Title Screen and some sprites after I finish the DEMO for WITW, and we will see where it goes from there. I won't start a New Project thread yet though...

I'm not promising I am even making this yet though.

Like I said...I will create some zombie sprites, and some main characters, construct some title screens, and we'll see how it goes from there...

If you go through with this I would like to help also, I can do anything from mapping, basic scripting, basic spriting, basic graphics, and basic eventing. So basically anything but only at a basic level.

If I'm going to go through with this, then that's exactly what I want.

I will ask for the development of a team.
Simply sign up, help out, and RMXP will get another zombie game to play, and you will be in the credits. =) Plus, we would get to make up a cool team name XD


And we could dispatch the team after the project's completion, and we could reunite for more example games !!

Keep in mind that even though both of you will be using Blizz-ABS, you can create 2 completely different games.

Well I have made my decision...
I am going to make my own Zombie game...

There will be no merger, unless "you" want to "join the team" I am going to try to put together to crank this out MetaKnight!!

Go ahead and check the new projects thread in roughly half an hour for more information...
