Are these nothing more than re-colors??
- I mean, did you recreate or even create the sprite yourself, or are these rips??

** At any rate, they are pretty nice. I was always a pokemon game fan growing up.
** If there was one thing NINTENDO did right, it was definitely the Pokemon games XD.

Recoulers of Rips. I'm just starting to learn to sprite myself :P and notice it does say Recoulors above them and hopefully soon I will have a custom one!

Yeah, I noticed, I just didn't recognize some of the stances that he pokemon were in, so I asked.

Oh and just to let you know there not all going to be pokemon. I found a tutorial that showed how to recolor sprites but had pokemon in the example so I used them to get me started. Soon it'll be rtp sprites when I think I'm ready.

Thanks. Also am taking ideas on pokemon edits for now. What pokemon should I edit?
Like what pokemon should I edit and what pokemon colors should I use on it?

This is how I started also, by recoloring Pokemon, actually I just recolored pysduck a lot of different times to different colors.  :^_^':

But it looks cool, keep it up :)

ok well its not really an older version of Arshes but he has grey hair. Anyways here's the first frame.

You didn't pay enough attention to the entire shading process...
There are more shades in the original hair color than the amount of shades you used in the new color. You didn't highlight the hair, you just shaded it.

What editing program are you using??

@calintz: Okay you wanted me to fuse Snorlax and Dragonite. Which pokemon do you want as the base like what pokemon do you want most of? And what colors do you want me to use? Snorlax's colors or Dragonite's colors.

I had major troubles with this one because the shapes didnt seem to want to fit. Then again its in MS Paint. :P

Yea but heres what I ran into, when dragonite was recolored to make fusing easier what part of snorlax could I have put on Dragonite? So I couldnt really think of anything else sorry.

Thanks Reno. I know I'm no artist but I think I'm getting there. The padlock made me frustated while making it. Theres only so much room when making RMXP Specific resources I'm more of an open art type guy need to have my open space to be able to throw anything anywhere.

I really need some comments on this title screen. Its for my Blizz ABS COntest game. Anything I could do to improve it, or something?

The background colours of the cards (I presume) work well to make the title more interesting. :D

Critique - don't cry :V: ShowHide

If you want my (personal) opinion, Photoshop textures are generally a no-go for large areas of any picture, particularly ones with noticeable shadow/ a lumpy 3D effect.

The shadows on the text also seem a little too bold and dark since the picture is overall relatively dark itself. I don't really understand what the shapes on either side are - I suggest maybe you use blending effects on them so they flow into the background rather than isolate themselves in a pool of black. :xD:

To be honest looking at this doesn't instantly remind me of YuGiOh - then again I've only ever played one GBA title of it. You's probably need more of that font and a more saturated version of the gold-ish brown colour they use.


Anyhow, this looks like a good start to your game and I'd be interested to see how it goes! :P

Thanks Reno it does. They're only selling the yu-gi-oh font for 40$ on this site. I cant find a torrent or anywhere else they have it. Its BULL

That's one big jump...(In date of posting, at least)

Eh, something look odd with the Turtwig morph's eyes...It doesn't look natural at all. Sure, it may be albino or something, but...It would be white all over, wouldn't it? :P

Other than that, not bad. Why not post your Toon Link picture here as well? >.>

What's osu!? It's a rhythm game. Thought I should have a signature with a working rank. ;P It's now clickable!
