Now something less of a spoiler. What's the anime actually about? How epic is it? And how -girlish- is it (in % please so I can decide not to watch it if it goes over some specific percentage liik 5% or 6%)? *doesn't read the thread because of spoilers in case he decides to watch it*

Its an anime what do you think its about.

Some guy gets super human powers, they diss America and England while making it out that Japanese people were made slaves and being beat to death/hated by all the rest of the world while at the same time finding someway to put some annoying fucktard of a goody two shoes friendship speeches (fuck punctuation I'm on a tangent) giving bastard that happens to be japanese.

On top of all of that. . they put like a fuckbillion bunch of fanservice scenes including a nerdy British girl masturbating on a table (which was kinda hot.. pixelated bomchicka wah wah.) and a pink haired girl's camel toe.

If that wasn't bad enough it is like one big pizza hut commercial. I used to like Pizza Hut too, now I switched to little ceasars. All animes are basically the same thing.. but.. would I recommend it? Eh.. sure. Don't say I didn't warn you though.

In fact, most animes are NOT about people gaining superpowers and doing shit around. And those are the bad animes IMO because they are boring.

I mean in Naruto/ Bleach at least they let you get a break from friendship speeches.. but the WHOLE series and in EVERY episode the main character whines and goes emo about his friend.. especially when he *spoiler* and *spoiler*

Imagine Inuyasha the whole "KAGOME! INUYASHA!" thing.. but one sided.

I bet you think I'm exaggerating. I am actually being conservative about how many times he cries out his MALE friend's name. They're not gay but they slept almost naked in the same bed. The anime is like watching a train wreck, full of HARD GAY's and Village People dancers.

Yeah, but that's FMA Series 1, which branches away heavily from the darker themes of the manga.

The current one, titled Fullmetal Alchemist - Brotherhood is much darker and overall pretty good so far (14 subtitled episodes as of right now on Funimation's website).

I've started watching on friday evening. I wanted to watch 3 episodes or so, but I couldn't stop. ._. I watched 12 that evening and 6 this morning. And I will watch some more later today. It's a great anime.

Finished watching. Epic. I love the numerous small plot twists. <3
It's an anime I definitely recommend. It's not too long and it's awesome. I just loved Kallen's character. And while watching at one moment you love Lelouch while at another you hate him and are like "OMG, NOEZ! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!".

ok I decided to pick the show up again (stopped watching at episode 14), I watched up to 25 of Lelouch of the Rebellion and I know for a fact that's not the ending.  Can someone tell me where it picks up from there?

Yes, there's the first season, then code geass R2. R2 is more interesting, in my opinion, though the first episode is WAAAY to similar to episode one of the first season (so thus it bores me ). Other than that though, you should love Code Geass R2

I remember the first thing I thought was "WTF, since when does Lelouch have a brother?" I kept noticing all the things that were different, and just thought it was the writer's ignoring the previous series (which happens in lesser quality anime). Then at the end of the episode it was all explained, and thus i was happy. lol
