this is the start of a red slashing/claws animation please tell me what you think

You need one last frame, but you know that already probably.

so does no one really care? because I was going to open a simple animation shop if people thought that ones a made were good and I can only get good with criticism and practice.

I like it but you should also add the other hand in the animation as well.

I think its actually really good just didnt notice it is all sorry :^_^':

It actually looks beautiful.
I really do like it. I wouldn't have worried about curling the claws that much myself, because you can always use the rotate feature within the animation system within the database to emulate that effect.

If I was working on a RMXP game at the moment, I would care, but I've been putting lots of hours into my C# game.

Ok here is my finished version I imagine it being used as some sort of claw animation for a bear or wolf, or perhaps a claw animation for a monk or bare hand class.
use it as you like and tell me what you think.

Nice!

Pro points for not just horizontal flipping for that. ;)

What's osu!? It's a rhythm game. Thought I should have a signature with a working rank. ;P It's now clickable!
Still Aqua's biggest fan (Or am I?).

so I'm trying to get electricity and lightning down. I used two different styles which do you think is better? you can also give me suggestions on how to improve them

1st has too much of the plastic wrap filter still blatantly obvious.

lol ya I used two different methods to make them. the second one don't even have the plastic wrap filter in it

yes but then your reliant on a random render instead of controlling where the lighting is and what it looks like.

That looks very nice Ryex. Cant wait to see the full thing done.

Sorry, I didnt notice the edit.

Anyways keep up the work, love your claw animation.

EDIT: After lightning think you could make a fire one? I got a cool idea with the claw animation.

I'm not sure. I'll try and look up a few tuts to see how but fire is one thing i'm no good with. lightning has a more logical structure than fire and is easier in my opinion.

I finally figured out of to make goo electricity simply without a bunch of filters
note that this is a really simplified bolt I was just testing the look of it
