I generally keep the desktop clean, and remember a whole lot of keyboard shortcuts. I have one for RMXP Launcher, one for Resource hacker, one for a folder in my collection where I keep shortcuts to apps and folders I don't use frequently but still do. And I aim my shortcuts to cover pretty much all hot spots of the computer. For example, Ctrl+Alt+M brings up the RMXP folder, from where I can easily navigate to my Games folder. I keep my desktop clean. When I'm frustrated from working on the computer and just want a small break, I just press Win+D and stare at the desktop and my mind calms down a bit. But right now, I'm not bothered about any of it, so here's my desktop:
