HAHAHA! No, I'm already a partner. Everytime my video reaches 1k views I get the chance to put google ads on them instead of ad captions. I get paid for google ads, I get partner benefits for ad captions, including autoplay.

I've been on the partner list for the longest. My older video has been qualified for partner as well. Every 1k views I get paid for using the partner program.

I've been turned down alot when I had a smaller audience. I -just- got accepted as a partner when I uploaded the Mary and the Black Lamb video (which now has 3k views)

"Applications are reviewed for a variety of criteria, including but not limited to the size of your audience, country of residence, quality of content, and consistency with our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use."
Before you start insulting me, maybe you should do some research. These requirements to enter into the partnership program were much higher and stricter, I never mentioned that it had anything to do with how many subscriptions you have, or views.

Also I'd like to point out that they accumulated views because XP was popular back then. Any video with "Rpg Maker XP" in the title back then would get some sort of attention. Most of my videos do not have that in the title. Even their most current videos only have 500 or so views... and they have less subscribers/ channel views than I have

This video: 14k views 944 comments, 200+ ratings. Uploaded August of 2009. Flipped out? The guy basically told me "well, no big deal that you're a partner" and then followed it up with "The standards have been lowered" and "Anyone can become a partner". Pfft, come on. Also like an idiot he says my video only has 1k views -within a one week period-... >.< but if he knew shit for beans he'd realize that I cant monetize any videos BELOW 1k views -within a one week period-. Once a video of mine hits 1k views and I've been accepted into the program I can monetize the video. . I submit it for monetizing and they review and for two weeks and if accepted they put banners and ads on my video. Then I'll get paid every 1k views after the 1k views  I originally had.

Its not as simple as "Well you're a partner you get paid for every view/ comment" comments do jack shit, every 1k views I get paid.. and it has to be 1k views on the video that is monetizing not video views in general. The guy was over simplifying what it takes to be a partner and how I could make a profit. . . and the profit isn't even that much. The only perk is being featured and getting known so I can make a profit off of game sales.
