No, I don't I actually am just as surprised as you are. I always wondered what it was like to be a youtube partner. Obviously I wanted to show everyone what it looks like. However, I overestimated how perceptive some of you are. I mean if you can read the title it tells you in english.

Flipped out? The guy basically told me "well, no big deal that you're a partner" and then followed it up with "The standards have been lowered" and "Anyone can become a partner". Pfft, come on. Also like an idiot he says my video only has 1k views -within a one week period-... >.< but if he knew shit for beans he'd realize that I cant monetize any videos BELOW 1k views -within a one week period-. Once a video of mine hits 1k views and I've been accepted into the program I can monetize the video. . I submit it for monetizing and they review and for two weeks and if accepted they put banners and ads on my video. Then I'll get paid every 1k views after the 1k views  I originally had.

Its not as simple as "Well you're a partner you get paid for every view/ comment" comments do jack shit, every 1k views I get paid.. and it has to be 1k views on the video that is monetizing not video views in general. The guy was over simplifying what it takes to be a partner and how I could make a profit. . . and the profit isn't even that much. The only perk is being featured and getting known so I can make a profit off of game sales.

Once I get all my benefits I can host links and stuff in my profile. Right now they choose which videos can get ads on them or not.. and even after they choose it I get to choose if I want to accept monetizing the video. So if you don't want ads on videos promoting your stuff (which essentially every one of my videos in some way is) I can reject monetizing the video.

I think it would be plain mean not to let you earn money with videos of my stuff. o.o; If you made the videos (actually even if I made them), why shouldn't I help you get money? I mean if you can get money from it, why should I be an ass and prevent it?
You are promoting my stuff (you get lots of people to view the video) and for that you get money from Google. I really see nothing wrong with that.
