You can test speed here:
http://www.speedtest.net/

I'm curious to see what kind of speeds people have. US government wants to make average internet speed in USA 100 Mbps by 2020.

The biggest lie ever said to me. >.<

I WISH it was that good. >.< I only ever get 300-something KB max. :P

And, by the way, Polk. There's an edit button in your first post. Could have used that, instead of double posting. ;)

I'm not test it there because I only have 30 GB bandwidth per 30 days -_-
It's evil to give me > 100 Mbps and limit the bandwidth like that.
It's only at most 56 Mbps atm because I am on wireless though.

That said, I like that goal :D

With me it depends. When I'm at college it's 54 Mbps, when I'm at work it's also 54 Mbps, but the actual connection isn't as fast.

Mine is that good. I mean I actually am getting that much.

Yes, we are talking about the real speed and not what network adapter says.

Thanks, I know. I wanted to keep the poll and my own test separate. Didn't want to show off my speed as if it's some sample for the best speed, etc...

thanks for pointing that out though.

But the router is the limiting element in my case ._.
