You think you're a hacker? You think you know everything that there is about computers? You love encryption and information hiding? Or do you just love brain-melting puzzles / riddles and everything is too easy for you? Then I have a site for you.

Ma's Reversing

I have seen many sites around the internet where you can learn to hack and similar stuff, but none is like Ma's (especially not close as difficult as Ma's). If you want to just register, you have to prove yourself worthy and hack your way into the site to obtain the registration password.

For each riddle you usually get a few small tutes, a piece of text that is written in riddles to guide you and some simple tools which you need to figure out how to use. Additionally you get the riddle content which range from images over audio files to small programs. As Ma always says "Remember, everything is 0 and 1.". Another particular quote is this one:

QuoteAlso, I don't mind _how_ you solve the riddles: if you are able to find the password in any more creative way (stalking, searching, cracking, and so on) you're allowed to do it. Just two requests: first, don't damage the server where my pages are hosted; second, teach us the technique you have used or the tools you've created to find the password.

Enjoy it. >:3

I, myself, messed around with the site over 4 years ago and came to riddle 5. I'll start over in the next few days. The first few puzzles should be a piece of cake for me since I remember mostly what needs to be done.

Please do not post solutions of hints here. Ma has a forum if you need support. Of course, you can also Google to find solutions, but that defeats the purpose of the site and kills all the fun.

This reminds me of the later levels of notpron.

Some of them were notorious and required you to have a basic working knowledge of many different technical skills.

As far as I know, Ma's site is harder. Back in the days where me and my roommate were trying to solve Ma's riddles, Notpron wasn't close as hard. Sure, they were hard, but it was mostly enough to simply be persistent while Ma's riddles will melt your brain. It has only 28 levels (compared to Notpron's 140), but you're going to piss blood in every single one of them. >.<
