Ok, filesize question. Is this too much considering download time and such? I'm afraid the amount of charsets might be a bit... large.
The amounts are not exact.

150-170 charsets in RTP size.
6-7 tilesets
20-30 pictures - 640 x 480
3-4 autotiles
0 animations
0 battlebacks
10-14 battlers/faces
2-3 fogs
1-2 windowskins
0 titles (using a script)
0 panoramas
8-14 icons
1 gameover
3-5 transitions

So, am I exaggerating? Will that be OK?
If I am not, and I do need to reduce the size, I have thought of something.
If I use bitmap2code to store at least half of the graphics as methods in code instead of files, then they can be loaded when needed. That way I could reduce the size a lot right?

Blizzard

CP has 392 charactersets which are RTP size or bigger and 155 picture files (only half is 640x480 I think), yet it's 80 MB when you install it. It also has 635 icons and 61 tilesets (altogether being about 11 MB), 46 battlebacks (about 7 MB) and 187 battler files (about 10 MB). I don't think you have to worry about your game getting too big.

Even though Bitmap2Code will reduce filesizes required, it will probably increase the script size by a larger degree and it will also cause them to be loaded significantly slower. Bitmap2Code was intended to be used with small images and for scripts releases so people don't have to add images additionally to their script downloads but could rather simply give out the script which will just generate that image. You are not really saving space if you use Bitmap2Code on big images, you are rather doing the opposite.

Also, about the title: That's what she said. :V
