It's kind of a longshot, but does anyone know any forums specifically dedicated to roleplaying? A friend at another forum asked and I was all 'ya know what, I wanna find one too!' and so I'm asking you guys.

His specifications were somethin' like 'I realize this is a hard achievement, but a place that isn't overrun by pre-teens whose RP posts consist of one-liners would be great, kthnxbai~'

welll... I was introduced to the internet through just such sites believe it or not. and If you (or the person your asking for wouldn't mind writing more than one paragraph for a post on average (exceptions would be dialog with another player) I would be happy to suggest a site full of very mature Rpers (most of them are college age and up) it really needs new blood.

Could I suggest RPG-Palace?
It has role playing game in it's title o_O so yeah...
I'm a regular then as well, and I enjoy, it has some great members too :P (me! LOL! ;))

NOT what s/he is taking about. it is talking about text role-playing the like of which you can find in the chat sup-forum

I have another recommendation for you Ulta. I had forgotten about it as I never really fit me.
Iwaku it is about 50X more active that the first recommendation I made, just look at its stats section.
in any case check it out.
