windows defrag sucks
I no longer keep up with posts in the forum very well. Maybe the graphics are purely software rendered. That would perfectly explain the crappy performance.

No, it disables auto-defrag by default if it detects an SSD.

there really isn't any point is defraging a SSD is there? the seek time are by virtue non existent so all defragmenting would do is wear down the flash memory and make it fail sooner

Which is why it is a beta. At least I hope he'll make it hardware rendered when the full game comes out..

Right; that's why he was asking. You had said that it was automatic, so he was wondering if it would still occur with an SSD even though it would have no benefit.

used to anyway, Defraggler couldn't really do much better the few times I ran it on this system, maybe 3-4% max.

but it dose it an order of magnitude faster


win defrag used to take 18 hours no mater how many time I ran it no mater what the frag level was
