My Acer Aspire X3200 (Vista) Just failed

This morning when I tried to boot my PC it just... Did nothing 
Didn't boot at all... Dead...
I'ts going for repairs now. Hope I don't lose all my data cuz only few things where back-upped.

Data shouldn't be a big problem. Get out the Harddisk and connect it to a PC to get your data.
Make sure to tell the guys at the service not to format your drive. D: Or at least tell them to get the data out before they do.
Your HDD probably has a Slim SATA connector (or possibly Slim PATA) so you will probably have to get a Slim SATA to USB converter.

The PC has to go back to acer, I could ask for not to format it but i'll prob have 2 pay
I'ts sure worth it though. ALL my data is on that PC...
Also I cant open the PC cuz I'll have 2 brake the guaranty seal and it still has guaranty.

I don't see why asking them NOT to format the harddrive would cost. It would be another thing if you'd ask them to format it.
And besides, if you think that it is worth it yourself, that wouldn't be a hard decision.
