today i made my very first sprite ever and decided to post it up here for you guys here to give me critique.

I don't understand why you made a ball though, Lol ...
Why not start with franken-spriting and add some edits. That is a good way to begin.

As for your ball ... you need to work on the outline and the overall shading.

i know i need to work on the shading, also i forgot to shade the outlines, also i dont know why i put this in the general trubleshooting/help section, if a mod could please move this topic to the regualr General RPG Maker Discussion board that would be graet, thanks.

Actually ... I think this should go in "Express Your Creativity." It doesn't deal with RMXP directly. This is outside work that will help you in the future. For a image that size I would recommend a minimum of 7shades. (Lightest, Lighter, Light, Base, Dark, Darker, Darkest). That image has to be at least 75 x 75 maybe even 100 x 100. Images that size need more attention.

I´m agree with Calintz, edit a sprite or work using a template to get some practice.

about the size, i didnt mean for it to be that big, i made another one with stripes, but i lost it
