Mildly major annoyance with CCOA's UMS

undefined method 'code' for nil:NilClass

This happens every time I try to use a more-than-four-choices choice window. Which happens an awful lot at the start of my game. The error occurs at line 663, three short of the big one. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Or knows the script well enough to help me?

Ah, excellent.  You liked my amusing sideshow, yes?  I'm just a simple fool, my wit entertains the wise, and my wisdom fools the fools.

I've used the UMS for a while and never run into this error. Are you sure you copied it correctly and have the latest version?

I've been using it for ages as well, this is the first time it's happened. And it's the same copy I've used successfully before.

My newest scripts are active action information and Zero's advanced title.

EDIT: I deleted action info and now choices show up. The only problem is that...if I have four choices, which lead to more choices, when I get to the second level of choices, it shows all the options that would be available if I chose all three other choices at the start. And the choices for the first option, but the screen doesn't stretch that far...

I know when you use the "more than four choices" more than once in the same tab, it tries to load all of them at the same time leading to serious issues, even if the options are inside a conditional. The UMS scripts sometimes ignore the sequences. The same thing can happen when changing the size of the text box. Still, UMS has enough pros to outweigh the cons.

Right. Do you have any idea how to...oh, I see. Never mind.

I did right this, but it was more designed to add this feature to the default message system. Don't know if this will help or not.

I am done scripting for RMXP. I will likely not offer support for even my own scripts anymore, but feel free to ask on the forum, there are plenty of other talented scripters that can help you.
