I don't know if I should like or dislike the way they smoothed out the models for this remake. I mean, it looks nice, but at the same time.. weird.
Also, it's kind of funny how one of the main features of the 3DS can't really be seen until it's released. xD Reminds me of how the virtual boy was marketed.. but no. Let's not compare that.

I can see that they used the improved model from Majora's Mask for this remake. It's mostly improvement of textures from what I can tell. I'd say they remade the textures in higher resolution since the 3DS has most probably significantly more video RAM than the N64 did. Hence they can use actual textures for poligons that used to be plain color (such as Link's clothes which were mostly just green poligons without texture, at least from what I remember). Maybe I'm going too much into gamedev detail here. xD

I actually know about the coloured polygon thing... I think almost everything on link except the face was coloured like that, really. But the model was definitely improved, even more than the majoras mask one... I just hope they at least modeled the face a bit this time xD
