Lol this is completely ridiculous.

So, can we plan friday?  At some point (when I wake up), I will declare myself in control of the forum, or something to that effect.  Then what?

Maybe the mods could take sides? Some would side with Blizz; you could "ban" them (you don't actually have to ban them - just add their names to the banned list and PM them telling them to log out and not use that account again until things are over) they could make dupe accounts and log back in and try and stop you, etc. Some could side with you, and recognize you as the "true" Admin of Chaos Project. Maybe some could even be double agents, pretending to be on your side, but making a dupe account that would complain about wanting Blizz back. Then you could "discover" that it was really one of your "followers" and there would be much drama. All of the extra accounts and everything would be deleted the next day. Those are just a few ideas; that might be too over the top. Whatever we do, we need to be sure to keep it believable.

I thought this was a prominent possibility when we thought of this.  We can still do it, we just have to do it in a way that will subvert everyone's expectations. 

Idea 1 - I don't give a damn:
So we can have a whole buildup to the day, and then Friday morning, Blizz can say: I'm taking a break from the site, I don't know when I'll be back - winkio is in charge.  Then I can do one really small lame thing and be really obvious about it and everyone will be like "wow, that was lame".  Then, later in the day, all shenanigans can break loose as planned.

Idea 2 - Too fast:
Do it Saturday instead.

Idea 3 - Did I miss it:
Spread rumors about all the possible jokes we could think of (shutting down the site, ARC getting sued, etc.).  On April Fools Day, do absolutely nothing.  The expectations will kill them.

We go about as planned with some minor little things. Some will thing it is quite lame and see right through it. This will buy us a little time to come up with something truly devious that we will do Saturday after people think it is over.

I think this has gone too far. We are obsessed with trying to fool everybody and we are trying to hard. Take it easy. Let's stay on our tracks, let's keep fighting. On Friday morning I will de-admin myself and winkio will de-mod the mods that side with me. All mods that take no side (probably GAX since he won't be around) will stay mods.

winkio, if you plan on banning mods, you should actually do it. Don't do an IP ban, a normal ban will be enough. Members can see in other members' profiles whether they are banned or not. http://forum.chaos-project.com/index.php?action=profile;u=200
I think that banning would be the best choice because if we don't get banned, our fights will spam the whole forum. We surely won't stay in just one topic. And this isn't really in our interest. If you ban us, especially because of a previous intense fight with lots of threatening on Thursday, it will seem very legit. I will start raging more and more and resort to personal insults. You should threaten me with a ban. You know, you say something like if I can't control myself, you will ban me, all rules apply to me as well, blablabla, the usual stuff. I will obviously act out something like you betraying me, backstabbing me, I made you what you are, etc. This should turn out quite controversial because I will act like the bad guy while you will actually be the bad guy. Let's do some more fighting today and tomorrow will be the big climax.

If we changed our plans, it would be obvious that we were discovered and are looking for a backup plan. Any joke we pulled would be too obvious. We already invested so much time and energy into this one. The best reaction will be if people are puzzled. While it will seem like an April Fools joke that we got banned, it will seem legit because we actually had intense fights before. When people doubt whether it's a joke or not, then we have achieved our goal.

@Ryex: Post in the shoutbox "Oops, I accidentally deleted your shout, Tugger. Sorry about that. xD" It was an accident, admit that it was one. Even if it hadn't been an accident, still admit it.

I don't think Tugger "figured it out." As his game, Past of Venus, is a featured project, he is a Moderator over that section. Wouldn't that give him access to this board, thus allowing him to see this topic?
