I have only posted in the RMXP Scripts section several times about a problem I had with Blizz-ABS.

I didn't like the turn-based fighting system in RMXP and was looking for a system similar to that of the Zelda games.
When I came across Blizz-ABS I thought it was really awesome. But unfortunately I'm having some problems with it so started posting here looking for help.

It's been half a year now and still not even a single reply, so I figured it would be better to look for an alternative to Blizz-ABS instead of waiting even longer in the hopes that someday, someone would try to help me out.

Maybe I'll come back sometime when ARC is finished to try it out.

None of us likes to see people leave from CP . I never really check the Blizz-ABS thread, but if you PM me or explain your problem here, I might be able to help you, although I'm not sure.

The problem I'm having is this:

With Blizz-ABS you can make monsters drop items and/or gold when they die.
When I have an enemy drop either only an item or only gold, I can not pick it up.
When I make the enemy drop both an item and gold, the item gets picked up automatically by walking over it, but I am unable to pick up the gold.

Didn't winkio fix that bug already? If not, you should make a demo and post it in the Blizz-ABS thread. This was one of the bugs that I was never able to fix fully, it always kept reappearing for some reason. I never figured out the true cause of the bug.

it got partially fixed, but to fix it fully required a lot of rewriting of how enemies on the map are handled, so I haven't done it yet.

Yes, I messed that one up. As I said, I was never able to figure out all causes of that bug. The code seemed perfectly fine to me every time.
I could swear it's an incorrect assignment to an "event ID slot", but I simply couldn't find it.

Yeah, the reason I was leaving was because no-one helped me when I had a problem that more or less prevented me from continuing making games with Blizz-ABS (the reason I joined these forums).

Now that people offered to help me after all it wouldn't make much sense for me to just ignore them and leave anyway.
