Two days ago, I just laughed out loud. Literally.

I was watching television that day, and suddenly this My Little Pony commercial emerged from the depths it belongs to. It was about a pony called Princess Celestia, or Queen, or w/e. She (?) had wings that were almost twice the size of her body and the only thing she did was flap those monsters and say: "My wings are beautiful!!!"

But are there seriously different generations of ponies?

Seems to be starting off in a way similar to season 1. Me gusta! :D

That was magical and will remain with me always.

EDIT: Also I just realized that intentionally or unintentionally, they referenced Chocolate Rain.

The permanent solution for your problem would be to stop hanging out with stupid people.

Spaceman McConaughey

Well, probably unintentionally, because "chocolate milk rain" would sound weird, and too long.

Then again, people have been shoving memes into kids shows as of late, so who knows.

Hmmm.... I can't find the facepalm-moment...

5 distinct generations to be exact and all but the latest are considered awful. generations 1, 2, 3, and 3.5 are why "shows for little girls" have the sigma they do.

the ignorance behind the question "are there seriously different generations of ponies?" is  worthy.
oh and the rest of you post made no sense what so ever so i'll just ignore it.
I no longer keep up with posts in the forum very well. Aha, I didn't know that, thanks for letting me know :3.

*Rereads post*
Yeah, I'm sorry, I just had to put that out there. It's not funny if you read it instead of watch it, I guess, but I didn't know there was a big difference between the series and the commercials, so just ignore what I said there.

Spaceman McConaughey

lolwut? Didn't know there's a big difference? Wow.

Well, I mean... I knew there was a difference, but I thought it was a bit... similar. Yeah, I can't explain it. I knew the series had a storyline and that it apparently was more masculine, but... I thought that it had to do with each other in some way, except for the fact that they were both about little ponies... It was my second post in this topic that made no sense XD.

Blizzard

Alright.

I developed have the habit to watch an episode of anything while I make lunch/dinner at home. It kinda kills the time that I have to wait for the food to be cooked/fried/whatever and then I just finish watching during the meal. I'm all out of The Tick and this seems decent enough... <_<;

This has probably been answered (I'm not going through 5 pages just to find that simple answer), but how many seasons, how do I make sure I have the good stuff (the newest generation of ponies or w/e it is) and can I just torrent the thing?

At the moment, 1 complete season, the series is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (that's the one all the rave's about. The others achieved nowhere near as much fandom), and I'm sure you can torrent it somehow. But you don't have to, it's all on YouTube anyway.
G_G's a silly boy.

Blizzard

I prefer to have the episodes offline so I don't have to bother with potentially bad connections. Thanks. This will get me through another month. >:3

There are enough people around that like it whose opinions I value that it can't be bad. I mean, I never thought it was bad, I just wasn't interested.

Oh, but of course. Still happy, though.

Also, just a warning:
Torrents of a1080p season 1 are as big as 18GB. So if you want superb quality, be prepared to wait it out. D:
