I've just finished watching Scrubs yesterday (9 seasons, been watching it for over 3 weeks I think) and I love that guy. He is so hilarious that at a few occasions I had to stop the video to finish laughing before I could continue watching. That happens rarely. You've gotta love how in almost every episode he has a new girl name for J.D. I feel like putting a couple of totally pointless rants together just to tribute such a great character.

He is an awesome character. I almost want to go back and re watch a season or two just to get a dose of him.

He is a great character, no doubt, but is slightly over-acted. Like, seriously. He's not even that realistic.
A lot of the things he says(and how he says them) would just have everyone in the room stop what they're doing, and laugh at him, not fear him.
But if you're the kind of person that loves the unrealistic nature of his character(like me), it's really entertaining.

(but who am I kidding? the show on its own can be unrealistic at times, so no big deal, especially since I love that kind of thing)

I love everything to do with the janitor, but we digress, splitting talk of scrubs to entertainment now before spam becomes serious.

The janitor is a good character, as well, and is again, highly unrealistic. In reality, JD would have had him thrown behind bars if he had a bit of intelligence wandering through his brain. But that is one of the things that makes this show so great. :3

So I heard characters from TV shows are unrealistic or something?  When did this happen?  I always thought they were so real, and connected so much with them emotionally and philosophically.

Real life is totally unrealistic, people are so stupid and overly dramatic.

Also, scrubs is a great show.

Scrubs characters are often unrealistic, but it's this satiric element of the show that makes it what it is. I find it hilarious how they also mention and parody other shows like House. I remember that one episode where Cox was ranting about how this is real life, not a TV show and how there are no cameras in front of him, etc. I laughed my ass off by the double-irony of that.

I know that Cox is overly dramatic and hence unrealistic, but that's exactly what makes him a great character. He's a strongly idealized angry stereotype. Everybody of such an angry nature would love to be as cocky as Cox.

Kelso cracks me up so much. He's just a hilarious dickhead.
JD isn't that interesting to me. He's definitely more of a 'sit-com' character than the rest of them.
But, yeah, I've always loved Cox.

Also, Sarah Chalke is fucking hot.

But only with the blond hair. The few times she was shown in the series with something other than long blond hair, she was kinda ugly. >.< e.g. the one scene where she has short black hair was just ugh.

Scrubs is absolutely one of my top 10 favourite series! The series holds so much of my own random humor

Season 9 just disappointed me.

They were supposed to. In fact, they have. Season 9 is "Scrubs - Med School" so it's more to be considered some kind of reboot. There were a few good jokes over the whole season (mostly while the old characters were still around), but that's it. In the original series there were a few good jokes over one episode. Also, the new characters are annoying, almost emotionless and incongruent. I don't think they're planning on continuing it, at least I hope they're not.
