ALT Codes in RMXP

So does anyone know how to use the alt codes characters below in RMXP's "Show Text" command?

Characters: ▲, ▼, ¶, ◄, ▐, etc.

Seriously, though. This should actually work right off the bat. If you can't enter them directly, you can copy-paste them. Also, make sure the font you are using actually supports these characters. If you go with Arial, everything should be fine.

If you want to check a font and see if the character exists or a code, type "charmap" in either the Start menu search box or Run box.
I am done scripting for RMXP. I will likely not offer support for even my own scripts anymore, but feel free to ask on the forum, there are plenty of other talented scripters that can help you.
