  uhmm Hi im basically a Noob at scripting
so i cant stand on my own at scripting you can basically see a
creative visualization i did see

anyways i find using the RMX-OS a bit hard   
i also saw the Setting it up RMX-OS TUT
basically the LAST part ripped me T_T

I just want a Simple RMX-LAN which supports
Blizz-ABS and other plugin\addons

Also i Believe to atleast have some features
Trade       
Private Messaging     
Partying 

I hope this may be seen upto by scripters
also i Heard @Blizzard That it wont be hard
by configuring the RMX-OS to LAN  please
post The script

Okay, first off, welcome to the forum.
Now to ruin your dreams :[
Rmxos and Netplay are the only online systems for rmxp. No others have been made because networking is an extremely complicated thing, and simplifying that process for general use is even more complicated. It's pretty safe to say that no one will create this for you. If you want a slightly easier online system, try eclipse. You will find that you can never really make an online game without programming knowledge. It's just an unfortunate fact :\

You would have better luck having someone explain the setup process to you. There are a few people on the forum who have been using it lately.

but is it still possible for coop play without the use of networking
E.G. 2 player at a single computer technically without the use of networking :3

You're more than welcome, and if you have issues with it, send me a pm on it and let me know where you're stuck; otherwise, following the instructions Blizzard provided in his documentation isn't all that hard to follow, though if some terms confuse you, you may need to use Google to find explanations on a few parts, but overall, it's really as simple as installing MySQL, MySQL Workbench (or other SQL database management software, Navicat is pretty good from what I hear), install Ruby, import the SQL file from Blizzards download in RMXOS, and then run the Ruby server file (in either my link or in Blizzards download) and then run the game client! (the one in my download).

Warning: It's close to 150MB worth of download, but it had the Ruby 1.9 Installer, MySQL 5.1 Server and MySQL Workbench all in a zip file.

HELP T^T   

i manage to install all of em
but theres few things i can  seem to bypass 

1.RMX-OS.rb (Ruby) once open it closes fast  like this smiley here ->

2.don't know what he mean't by "Proper Order" actually i open MySQL workbench
SQL editor   is it just the RMX-OS DATABASE or the one with numbers "X to X"


Help screenies might help XD if not  its still  okay cuz

If so, did you set it up as a local connection, and import the database file from the link I provided to Blizzards RMX-OS download? If all of the above are yes, the next question for you is, did you set up/modify the configuration file with your connections details? Bear in mind that you need to enter your IP address and port number that the database is using, otherwise the script can not connect to your database at all.


If all of the above fails, I could probably help you with this later tonight either via Skype, GoToMeeting, TeamViewer, et cetera.

Hi Let me break it down XD 

i installed MySQL server 5.1  then Installed the workbench 
after doing so i inputted the scripts from the
server>Database scripts
(I want to show you a pick on where i am right now but i dunno how XD  )
also i happen to be somewhat somewhere on the Portforwarding
i think .....
i dunno whats my port also 
i tried WhatsMyPort in google XD LOL
but it gave me like web port , MySQL [3306] and many more ports

Okay, so to make sure this all works locally first, don't even worry about port forwarding yet; set it all up as localhost/local connection first, and then worry about the port forwarding afterwards. Also, just so you're aware, your script needs to run as a localhost connection anyways, so as to be able to connect to the database on the local machine. Once all is said and done, if it works running off of localhost, then we can worry about the networking afterwards

To get a screenshot, you could either use the PrtSc button on your keyboard and paste it into paint or some other simple program (probably the only thing I ever use paint for anymore) and save it, and upload it somewhere to share.
