Sorry to break your heart, but it could use some work.

1. It seems you didn't go "off" the template, the clothing seems stuck. :\
2. More contrast on the clothing, darker shades.

But, better than most first tries. Even better than my first sprite. Lol.

It looks to me like it's supposed to be a tight fitting body suit. Similar to the ones in Evangeleon... but still different.

It could use a little more shading, but the design looks fine to me...

All in all I like it.

I'm not exactly sure what your point was in that statement O.o

And as I said, I like it. it just needs a slightly dark shadow around the edges.
