Hi, in case you were wondering why I haven't been around lately that answer is simple

My computer was having Boot file, or BCD file errors and would not start. none of the online solutions worked so after a week I gave up and called tech support. ended up having to reformat and reimege my comp to factory setings. luckily I got it so work long enough to save most of my important data, RMXP project included.

so now I'm back... hopefully...
I no longer keep up with posts in the forum very well. thanks for the welcome back guys!

ya it freaked me out for a bit cause I was worried about having to reinstall everything. but I has a recovery partition and was able to reimege my HD to the state I got it in.

Ouch. You probably could have fixed it by running chkdsk.exe over the Repair console which you can access during the XP setup menu in DOS style. :/ At least you didn't lose 6 months of work as I once almost did.

actually I tried that too, didn't work. but ya, no work lost this time.
