If this is in the wrong place, feel free to move it.

hey, i want to know how can i play copied and/or imported ps/2 games without modding the console?
I tried opening the tray with an old, out-dated, plastic card, but failed to open the tray...
Is it even possible to play them on an unmodded console without these special boot discs...?
I know how to burn the games, no prob. I know where to get them. The problem is how to PLAY them?
I have such a crappy som, that my ps emulator won´t run properly, and no use about imagining about PS2 emulators...
HELP!

First of all, PS/2 is a computer port, PS2/PStwo is the console. Just me being OCD. :P

As for the rest, no, it's not. You have to mod the console, and on top of that any games you burn yourself require special software (SwapMagic, I believe).

Well I know with the slim ps2 you can play burnt games without modding. You just need two straws, a small piece of tissue, and a small piece of tape.

You cover all sensers. The first ones over the power button. Use the tissue and tape here. Then theres two in the back. Ones near where the cd would go. The other's hiddin in a hinge of the ps2 lid.

Then once all sensors are covered you can pop in a regular ps2 or psx game. Go to the consol thing and let it load. Before clicking on the cd switch out cd's. Take out the original and replace it with a burned game. Then click on the cd

Ooh. Sounds like what you could do with the OLD PS1's.

Yup exactly. Sony made the mistake again xD they had it perfect with the ps2. But yea it is possible with ps2 just harder I've never done it but I've seen videos on youtube
