Aveyar
Aveyar cursed mentally as he watched his other self lead Sakura quickly through the passages. They were running almost. What was this idiot doing!? Who knows when they'd find the shapeshifter again! All this just so he could do something to the poor girl. They stopped, completely shrouded in darkness.
"There's something you should know. This isn't my true form." Aveyar's body began shining brilliantly, silver light illuminating everything so brightly it looked like noon. Aveyar internally gasped at the sheer amount of Magic he could feel in his other self. "I am the legendary Aveyar, the one who slayed the demons, reincarnate in this Faeleen body."
Aveyar could feel Sakura's body quiver in his hands.
"I was an angel, the hand of the Savior himself, but that life is gone now. All that remain are my memories, and my power." Aveyar leaned closer to Sakura, their faces nearly touching. "I know you're not quite who you seem to be either. You think I can't tell you're just acting? But for some reason I trust you..." He smiled at her. "All that's left is to discover if you trust me." Aveyar leaned in and kissed her.
He smiled "I need your help to become an angel again."
Varyn
He was free. Freedom...now he could regain his honor. He parted the flames and stepped out. He smiled, looking at the startled looks of the townsfolk. Didn't they know fire simply worked to make the metal stronger? And now he had the power of fire on his side, now he could pound and strengthen the whole world. He could reshape it into something powerful, a better world.
"Don't stand in my way. Namu has chosen me." Varyn smiled darkly, and controlled the fire, causing it to swirl around him.
Varyn walked away without any resistance. How he wished Emyr would try and kill him. Then he could Pound him. Oh yes, pound more than just the weakness out of that trash. Pound them...pound out the weakness. But no, he had to wait for them to wrong him. Fire taught him well, he knew how to act, and would control himself. He couldn't pound someone unless they wronged him. And he couldn't kill someone unless they tried to kill him.
As he walked out of the town, he could still hear Fire's voice in his head. "Now that you have my power, you will always hear my voice." The crackling boom of Fire's voice echoed through his mind. "I speak for Namu. Namu commands you to go to a nearby cave. I will guide you there. It is filled with the unholy work of necromancy, and must be purged by fire. Namu commands you, use your power to purge the evil."
