Tell me what you think. Her name is Helaine. She's French, and is a character in my upcoming game.

Helaine: ShowHide



Also, her name  has a meaning:

# HELAINE: Variant spelling of Old French Elaine, possibly meaning "torch." In Malory's Morte D'Arthur (Death of Arthur), this is the name of the tragic figure who dies of grief because Sir  Lancelot is unable to return her love.

That'll give you a clue as to what happens to her in my game.

Not bad, though I'm redoing the drawing on my computer, gonna make it a bit more loli-like.

Can't wait to see how it turns out. Lol, I'll probably give ya some credit if used in the game. Though I kinda like the way she looks like now. I hated that they always wore skirts :P, so i drew her with leggings and a Half-skirt. Makes it a bit more interesting.

And Longfellow, you'll just have to wait and see,  :haha:.

Well, working from scratch is a bit of a pain in the ass...I mainly work with recoloring stuff.

Do you think you could re-draw this with a few specific changes?

the main changes are this (to make it closer to the loli style), note that I do have help in these judgements, and I do have a slight loli fettish...

Anyways, the chest should be a bit smaller and less defined, lolita clothing alone is VERY constricting and doesn't really offer much in terms of a bustline...

The face is slightly too long, the loli art style would need to be very delicate and rounded off, like a porcelain doll.  Depending on the style you're choosing for her attitude, the expression should be very simple.

Lol, cool fetish. Sure, I'm actually drawing her doing a courtesy (or how ever you spell it) right now, but holding a sword.

I'll do another picture with what you described. Any specific positions you want her in? This helps me out too 'cause just happen to need to practice her for when cut scenes involving her are put into play.

The drawing itself is technically okay. I'm not a fan of the whole anime style, but that doesn't stop me from noticing when something looks good. The clothes and pose look great, the hands could use some work, but the face is awful. I don't know if this was intentional, but she looks like a man. And the fact that she's devoid of any emotion at all further cements her tranny appearance. But I can see a future for you in drawing, just keep practicing. And I can't wait to see what GAX does with this.

Yea, I'm working on the face :^_^':. She's gonna be a bossy type of character so I need to practice her.

Hopefully I'll have her down pat. GAX, I'll try to have your pic tomorrow, but I'm still drawing her right now. It takes a Long time for me to draw her, plus I made an updated version with MORE designs to fill out the top half cause she was looking bland. I'll upload it soon.

And that's awesome coloring GAX. Lol, I wish I had someone to color on my team.

Now I'm really excited to see what you do with my drawing.

in the first picture, her lips and nose are so high up her face that her chin appears to be too low, giving her the appearance of being overweight.

in the second picture, her right arm is too long, and her legs are skewed in a weird direction.
most of all, I'd say just work on adding some pop to the pictures, all the detail looks very flat on her clothing.

Aside from that, it's very good work so far, the face in the second picture is much better than in the first.

is this for a game?

Yes, this is for a game. She's an important character in Harold's (One of the main characters) part of the story.

Could you explain what you mean by flat?

Do you mean like...shading or something to add more dimension?

overall i like the picture
i think if you shaded/coloured it or even made the fabric patterns contour or flow with the clothes rather than just being flat on there it would look so good, practice the hands and face, and dont feel scared to look online for refference/tips or tutorials for body proportions or specific things like how to draw hands, its how EVERYONE learns, by seeing and doing ^^

id love to see it coloured though =D
