Compwizzo, no one is trying to stop you from using XAS. If it's what you want, go for it. We're attempting to have a civilized discussion about blizzABS vs. XAS.  I was posting the original XAS to show what XAS would be like without it's equivalent of tons of addons, CRLS, and all of the other scripts blizz has made compatible with it. (For sake of argument).

Honestly, no one is going to take you seriously if you continually insist of acting like a n00b and making a fool of yourself. Whatever strategy you're attempting to prove that XAS is better than blizzABS fails completely. Saying "OMG, MWAHAHHAHAHA< XAS IS TEH PWNGE!!!!1111" does NOT, I repeat does NOT in ANY WAY convince anyone.

Give some valid arguments to support your point, do it in an orderly fashion, and stop acting like a total n00b.

i just like to annoy the hell out of people/fuel this topic so that i may relieve some stress from my game development endeavors. 

Also the new dodge feature is XAS ABS is soo cool, you can evade your enemies attacks!

Though I disprove of this method of stress relief, I must thank you. It drove me to create a list of features bABS would need to have all of XAS functionality. It's actually about...3 features.

You have mentioned no features which means that Blizz-ABS instantly wins. You lose.

And there it goes, 2.0 is out.
So, cw7... Does XAS have extremely advanced Ally AI? No. Does XAS suppport a Gambit-like system for your allies? No.

Alright, I think I have a good idea. There will be a capability contest. Create a game within 1 week using either of the systems. Most people using XAS will first have to spent hours and hours to set it up right while in Blizz-ABS you can go right off mapping. Also the materials from the demos will not be usable! That means nobody using Blizz-ABS is allowed to use anything from Chronicles of Sir Lag-A-Lot and nobody using XAS is allowed to use anything from MOG's demo. Then we will see how powerful the systems really are. XAs with around 2000 lines of code or Blizz-ABS with currently 16000 (including comments which should be 8000 lines of pure code, still 4 times more than XAS).
I will post a contest post soon and the contest starts immediately.

I'm assuming custom-modded RTP graphics can be used, since an ABS needs those basic things like attack, block, etc.

Yes, but not the stuff from the demos. No scripts, no music, no graphics. Nothing. Make your OWN game. Using any of those resources will disqualify you immediately. And the contest will be cross forum which means ANYBODY from ANY forum can join. I will post it on several bigger forums.

Oh, is that a hint of despair that a pure XAS can't take on a pure Blizz-ABS?

- You get Blizz-ABS's script, configuration app and documentation which is all Blizz-ABS. No plugins.
- You get XAS's script, configuration app and documentation which is all XAS. No plugins.

That's only fair. Also, since XAS does not have a documentation, feel free to gather links to tutorials. Yes, XAS just got an advantage.

Also the limitation on additional scripts will probably be 15000 lines. Let me just put up Blizz-ABS v2.01, I'll put together the rules then.

What add-ons? The HUD and the 4 other? Even if I excluded Tons of Add-ons, XAS wouldn't win. That just proves that base XAS has absolutely no chance against base Blizz-ABS.
