Okay, avoid at all costs using the Fractal effect... I suggest using something else to make your effects, normally more than one effect on a layer does good, not just it alone.
I'm guessing your using Paint.net right?
If so get more effects, I would recommend getting the custom brush plug-in and making your own brushes.

Also, it looks too gay, as in rainbow. I suggest using something that only has one or two color(s), add a background, put a cool render, add a few effects and you got a good stock.
But don't just add effects, add brushes, custom shapes, avoid using more than one render unless your making a two sided image. (an example of this is SRK's Avatar)

Just a few tips if you get into graphics, or whatever you call it.

Well I personally love that render, and it doesn't fit with the whole rainbow theme.
It kinda would fit in with the blue lights coming out of the background.

But if you want to keep the rainbow theme I would suggest to make a lightsource and make parts darker than others.
With a black and white gradient going from the lightsource to other corner, Gaussian blur, and change the layer blending to add then play with the opacity.

I never heard of the Paint.net abbreviation before like that...I usually just hear Paint.net or .net or something... (Though .net can refer to Microsoft Framework I bet).

It reminds me a lot about fractrals and all of that, except it's more primitive and simple. Maybe you can make something good out of this, but so far it's just a colorful happy...mess of interesting images. Play around more. :3

Yeah, I have paint.net too. I take pictures from the net and use the artistic effects of oil pinting and ink sketch to lol myself.

If you take it seriously, then you may become better. If not, you'll end up like me



converting images of dogs chasing their burnt tails into oil paintings.

Well, Paint.net is actually a great program, if you understand how to use it.
Just using effects on an image is okay, but you need to expand outside of that.
Like... Duplicating a layer, smudging the edges, Gaussian blur it(Or radial blue) then put it below the original layer has a nice effect. Just do random things like that and learn how to add different effects together to create a good effect.

I give you Lot's of Effects.

Extract it to C:/Program Files/Paint.net/Effects

Then restart PDN if you have it open and play around with the effects...

The song is way too quiet. Unless my Volume Mixer is being a bad mitten (Which it shouldn't as I never touched it), you need to amplify that song up more. I could not give a good thing about this until you make it more listenable. The guitars did sound nice and authentic. Also, is it intentional that you're using the past tense of the verb Scrape for the song, or is its correct name 'Scrapped'? Just wondering.

Good thing you put this on Newgrounds. This is definitely something I would hear if I'm sifting through the musics within the site. That being said, it fits for its techno sort of thing, great job on that. However, there is nothing to write home about. You can go definite Rave on the song to make it epic, but unfortunately you didn't. It's a great song to put on a Flash as it can raise adrenaline levels. However, you can take the extra step further. Also, don't hesitate to make some instruments go on the max with their appearance at times. Quiet isn't the best.

EDIT: That is, if you can pull that off.

Why...I am! It's just not the same experience without them after all. If I have no headphones on this particular computer however, then it goes to a massive surround sound awesome beat, similar to an arcade...So there isn't a problem on that end. It might be the volume, but I highly doubt that.
