The Japanese version of DC has been on for... 10 years-ish.
Its currently on episode 530+ and Conan is still a little kid.. noone has aged a year and its basically a mystery show. Its not even interactive anymore. They pull shit out of their ass.

Example: At the end of the case none of the clues were valid however something the character told his mom ten years ago (not even on the episode) was.

Incidentally, I love the first video you linked (Rose). The woman who's supposed to have an accent? Loses it entirely for her first line. Oops. Also, her line makes me start thinking of dirty things for some reason. "Galahad, you came." Could she please try NOT to sound awkward?

This is the main reason why I'm not going to consider voice acting in games to be a serious thing. Ever. Thank you, Aveyond, for ruining that aspect of gaming for me forever. That and a few other lines. This is my store. What am I fighting for? What is this ominous light that threatens to engulf us?

Never would have guessed that it was your third language Blizz o.o And I think the reason they're so excited about it is the fact that there is voice acting in an RMXP game. I hope this enthusiasm lasts for another few days so I can get Darkness Rebirth on the VA bandwagon (with DECENT voice acting, no "HHHHarp").
