Block Escape

A GGP Production

Version 0.6

Introduction

Block Escape is a very simple puzzle game. The objective of the game is to move the block block to the checkered goal.
The hard part is moving all the other blocks out of the blue ones way. Again this game is really simple. There isn't a background story or a main plot line. Just a small game to kill time and to make you think.

Do note I have seen a few flash games like this before so the idea isn't completely mine.

Then it'll bring you to the profiles. Choose the profile or game save you want and click play.

Now simply drag the blocks in the direction they're facing. Some blocks only move left and right, while others only move up and down.

Fantastic, G_G. Very well done. However, I'm pretty sure this shouldn't be on the RPG Maker board.

G_G

Well its a game/project whether it was made with rpg maker or not.
Anyways, hope you like the small demo. (Or I'll hunt you down if you don't :V)

Aqua

Is this why you needed a grid?

Yea I needed a grid to help me make the border around the levels.

Fantasist

Nice one GG :) *levels up*

PS: There's a Game Maker 8 now? O_O I wish GM stayed completely free, I really REALLY like it (not to mention the things I planned to do with it) ;_; The cost is the only reason I gave up.
Do you like ambient/electronic music? Then you should promote a talented artist! Help out here. (I'm serious. Just listen to his work at least!)

It's in the Project/Games section of the RPG Maker section. I'm pretty sure this isn't supposed to be here. :P *moves*

This reminds me of the slider game on the iPod Touch/iPhone.

orz

Really nice though.

What's osu!? It's a rhythm game. Thought I should have a signature with a working rank. ;P It's now clickable!
Still Aqua's biggest fan (Or am I?).

Level 6 was so much easier than level 5 -___________-
*continues playing.

Level 7 was a joke too D:

8 was still easier than 5...
And 9...
And 10...
And 11...
And 12...
And 13...
And 14...
And 15...

Why was level 5 the hardest!?
Lol I'll try it again.

Played it again... Level 5 wasn't that hard actually XP

G_G

The next demo will hopefully have some nice music playing in the background. I also have 30 levels made now. Next demo will probably have 50 and old game saves will not work. Sorry.

Sase

It certainly got easier over time. The first 5-6 levels were the hardest (+ the final level but I wasn't concentrating on that so much)

This reminds me of Sokoban, nice puzzle game whatsoever.

Beating this took ~5 minutes

G_G

Wait until I implement the max amount of puzzles. I decided to change 100 to at least 200 and probably add even more.

Holy shit.
Either creating these is much easier than creating Sokoban puzzles or you're a genius.
