Yes, Aniki beat Ken with Link.  For those of you who don't know who Ken is, he is a pro smasher who was considered best in the world for some time.

If those are the actual tiers lists, then they don't really mean anything.  I've seen fox/falco pros demolished with a wide variety of marios, samus, ganons, links, marths, etc.  Skill really does have a lot to do with the game, not so much the character.  Here's some more proof from Aniki (I love this guy):

I used to, and from what I saw, it looked epic. As long as its as good as its prequels (or even follows the improvement margin between the first one, and the GCN one), I will love it.

True, the gamecube was seriously lacking in many areas.  I got it for smash bros, and ended up buying the metroid prime series as well.  Along with Mario sunshine and a few others that were more or less mediocre.  ONE WEEK!!!!!!!

Oi, many people say Tiers are fake. I acknowledge that. Tiers are simply determined by random matchups, plays, whatever...There's always an exception to that. And no, they don't count with Computers, just to say. Though I still look at it maybe because I like looking at the Pokemon Metagaming Tiers, especially the Ubers (Why Wobbuffet, why do you have to be Uber D:). So I accept your statement as a fact, Link isn't exactly a very weak character, he's strong, he just needs to have better beat-up moves like Gannon...
