Actually, Link is one of the best at if you are the right sort of player. Link's Z Move, the Grappling Hook, can hang on to cliffs giving Link a save. It is very hard to accomplish, and many of the best experts can do this. Link is mainly for a close range, 'least for me. But you really have to beat up the opponent to get him out of the ring. With Gannon, all I do is continuously fight and then smash my way to victory, giving quick times out in Event Mode.

Lol well for me I had the Nintendo64 one ;D But really all I would do if I was playing with my friends was eliminate everyone except one >:( then I would get murked because I suck at 1v1...... :'(

Unfortunately, the N64 one doesn't have an Event Mode at all. I still really wish instead of difficulty on Brawl they should've made an Event Mode Creator. Make your own little interesting scenarios that can be amusing to the bone. Really now, it'd be that awesome. It's like how I want a Mission Mode for Stepmania. Anyway.....If you aren't Kirby in the N64 version of Smash Bros., you're going to get smoked. Well, not exactly, but Kirby is one of the best characters on the original, no kidding.

And yes, kirby, captain falcon, and ness were very good in the original.  But the original pales in comparison to melee.  just as melee pales in comparison to Brawl.

On another note, Falco's final smash appears to be incredibly cheap.  It it a landmmaster (tank) that hovers REALLY fast.  This seems to be the only final smash that allows theplayer to get multiple kills:  once you lift somebody off the screen once, you can do it again when they respawn before they have time to escape.  This is REALLY cheap.  Yes, it could probably be avoided by a skilled player, but still.

Oh, and btw starrodkirby, My birds of prey is 12.5 seconds.  It's really not that hard...  It took me like 7 minutes just now.

I know Kirby is hella hard if you are faceing someone who knows how to use it :'(. My friend is a master with it really pisses me off >:(!!! I NEVER WIN!!! :'(

Once you know how to accomplish the feat, which is by the way throwing Falco or Captain Falcon into the road so then he'll have to be roadkill (Because Big Blue is really like that), getting a record like that is easy. But it also depends on the obedience of the opponents as well anyway.

i just did it by shining them  :D.  Just wait on the edge of the car at the very left of the screen, then use B down when they hop down from the big ship - it takes less time than the grab. 

Post another record of yours!  It will help pass the time until Brawl comes out!  (which is 5 days, btw)

I've beaten classic mode on very hard without continues, but has anybody beaten Adventure or All-star mode on very hard without continuing?  I've tried, but items and 1v2s and 1v3s keep screwing me over.  I think the farthest I've gotten on adventure mode on very hard was the metal bros.

I always rather prefer to play the Classic Mode rather than Adventure and etcetera. The last time I played Very Hard Adventure was months ago, which I don't recall who was my last group. It's either Onett or Battlefield (That includes the sub stages within the section).

All right. Let's try something more possible, something even a lucky person can beat all of us. Dino-Wrangling, 0:00:90.

And another record, if I can bring it off the top of my head. Nah, I'm going to check my records myself. Just wait. All Star Match 01: 0:38:70. Let's see. By the way, all of my event match records are below 2 minutes. If you have an event over 2:00 as the record, you know you've been beaten. :P

On what? I'm done with Very Easy. D: I only play that to get an easy No Damage Clear, and I do that for Classic Mode. Besides, it was months ago since my last play on Very Hard Adventure, so my results may change dramatically.

But he sucks in a 1 on 1 because he has no recovery.  Especially if you are playing against someone who uses projectiles.

He's a little sloppy like Luigi in my opinion. Yoshi has a very good "beat-up" move, and can actually KO. However, Yoshi does not have a triple jump. Even though that second flutter jump sounds nice, it's still not that great...It's little too inaccurate. Love how Yoshi is the master at Home Run (In actuality, the Gan Man is only if you can execute the you-know-what-I-mean-right?).

I was playing Melee today :P early this morning 8) Was at my friends house this morning was a snow day ;D. Link uber owns everyone 8). Except when Im 1v1 with Ness :'(.
