Valcos, I got to say this though...Toon Link I feel is better than Link, and he's definitely better than Young Link. Seriously.

Similarities:

• Same Final Smash


• Same moves


• Both have Triforce Icon


• Both can appear in the First Stage


• Colorful, with a Shadow Link

Differences:

• Toon Link has an attacking boomerang.


• Better triple jump for Toon Link.


• Toon Link is a secret character.


• Speed.


• Damage inflicting (Although it's not as showing as Young Link's difference)

By-the-by, why did I have Young Link when he's not in Brawl? I consider Toon Link a substitute for Young Link, that's why.

Give him a try when FAX unlocks the little beast. Providing if he already did, go to his place and hang out. Toon Link isn't the worst character, so yeah.

Here's my opinion:

Toon Link is great for movement.  He has fast speed, huge jumps, and i think he is the floatiest character is the game.  He has a spike and a boomerang that deals damage.  What he lacks:  Power, range.

Regular Link is great for getting kills.  He is pretty heavy and has attacks that deal tons of damage with good knockback.  He lacks a spike, but his power and projectiles more than make up for it.  His boomerange, although it does not deal damage, CAN be put to good use.  Mind games, stopping players, and dodging to name a few.  He also has awesome range with his sword.  What he lacks:  Speed, jumps.

I like toon link better because he is my style: fast with good aerials.  Just like metaknight.  i don't hate link; in fact, he is #2 on my subspace team because of his durability and damage (metaknight is #1, toon link is #4).  I like toon link better for 1-on-1s and Regular link better for 4-player matches.

I haven't played enough with either to get really good.  But neither toon link nor regular link suck.

Here's my opinion:

Hehe, Link is the #4 in my Subspace. If he isn't number #4, he's #6. By the way, let's ask a good question here.

Have you dodged Tabuu's butterfly on a harder difficulty before? If so, how did you do it? For me, I had my awesome Charizard jump up and do three quick shield jumps thingies. By the way, surviving his hits don't mean you dodged them, as anyone can survive on Easy Tabuu or Normal Tabuu. Really now.

You know... I never really saw a big difference between Fox and Falco. Like.. is one more powerful than the other or something?  ???

Here comes an inside look on Fox and Falco. Winkio, I never played the two with much comprehension, so you can help me with this.

Similarities:

• Same Final Smash


• Same Moves


• Both have surnames


• Both have F in their beginning first name


• Part of the Star Fox group

Differences:

• Speed (Fox is generally faster, but Falco is also fast)


• Jumping (Falco jumps higher, way higher)


• Ray Gun, or B Move (Falco actually hurts the person, Fox does not)


• Falco is a secret character


• Fox is better for damaging, Falco can make finishers

Falco has different hit ranges and motions and, well, attacks in general.  Also, he kicks his reflector at enemies.  I haven't played much with them either, but I know that fox does less damage and hits faster while falco does more damage but attacks a little slower.  Also, one has much better air attacks than the other (I think its Falco)

@kirby:  Butterfly attack?  You mean the one where he goes to the center of the screen and sends out the shockwave-things that kill you instantly  (i think its three of them in a row?)?  If so, yes by sidestepping on the ground (shield + down) with metaknight, link, samus, and lucario on hard.  I haven't tried very hard or intense yet.  Too busy target smashing.

Not the same exact moves of course, but I meant the same style. I should've clarified that very much. By speed I already knew Falco is slower, but saying that makes Falco feel like some obese bird that flies oh so low. But I don't play as Falco much, so that's why I wanted your help.

Hah, Target Smashing. Me and my sibling already finished all Five levels with every character. Sure it doesn't exactly look pretty on records (As in they're not the fastest), but it gets those Challenges done. And yes, that's what I mean by his Butterfly move. That Shield Down thing seems easier than doing the jump, I'll experiment with that later. Thank you.

Quicknote: Did anyone notice that Pikachu is 'broken'? Fight it on CPU lev 9, I struggles but I won by assist trophy+ ground pound and FS (2 stock match) (I was Yoshi btw)

Hah, then you should've put @Ulta, but that's okay, I'm always insane anyway.

I'm not sure if they nerfed anything with our birdy friend, but you can decide if you want to fall like a rock or just go down slowly with the control of the analog/D-Pad, so I'm not really sure if Falco has a problem on that particular matter. The Smash move, I never exactly used that much, so I have nothing to say. A lot of characters, now that I think about it, feel weaker now, maybe because of a new system or the replacement of moves, but still...

i can't decide if i'll use wolf, fox, or falco! I thought wolf was just gonna be another clone but in melee Falco was a lot different to Fox I can't say why I just was way better with him but now I've seen Wolf on youtube he looks like almost a completely different character than those two and pretty powerful and still fast.

I kind of did some simple graph, out of assumptions. It's not a graph, more like a number line.

This doesn't mean however that Wolf is slow. He's just slower than the two, but has more power than them, and vice versa. Falco is just the happy medium, while being able to jump high. They all have the same final smash. :3
