Hello, I'm Sondex from CA> RMXP.org> many websites> Eminweb.com> to here!

WHO am I?

Just your average game lover who wants to make a game! I've heard of this place from a few friends of mine and I have decided to join! YAY!

I'll probably provide music once I get my creations copyrighted, but I also have lessons for you to look at. I believe that anyone can make music!

Yes, I am a teacher at Eminweb.com. I teach music, basic eventing and mapping in VX!

Anyway, it's nice to have another musical guy and VX user here.

I'm glad you joined this forum, make sure to mention some of your Voice Acting works, and good thing a new musician has arrived. Can you beat LB's skill? :O

What's osu!? It's a rhythm game. Thought I should have a signature with a working rank. ;P It's now clickable!

Read the fine print, mapping...In VX. Mapping in VX is way different than mapping in XP, especially graphically. VX is similar to 2000's system of mapping...

I'd like to see your maps sondex, sometime...:/

Yeah, I do some voice acting. I also used to map in XP, though there are many others who could probably map better than me there. I'll be sure to post up some lessons in mapping in VX (maybe XP), eventing, and music, but most likely they will be in eminweb, where my music lessons are stored. I MIGHT move them over, but for now, they are on eminweb.com.

Another thing: This place seems to be a workshop fest.
I simply love it! I'm glad that so many people are offering their services to those who need their abilities! Kudos to you! Maybe once I get my resources copyrighted, I'll follow suit!

Hey there.

I'm Winkio, I'm sort of a jack of all trades, although I don't make to much stuff because frankly, this stuff has never gotten to the top of my priorities list.  I do: scripting, eventing, composition, graphics, and full games.  I checked out your lessons over on eminweb and they seem good.  I really need to learn how to use FL Studio well.  maybe you can help me with that.  Although right now, I'm composing in a MIDI only editor because its simpler.

Anyways, welcome, you seem to be pretty cool, and hope you have some fun here.

As a side note: most activity occurs in SPAM and the IRC chat, so don't be afraid to join in there.

@Shadonking: I use midimaker, but my trial will end soon. I have experience with midis, but I'm no god of midi....I just got an idea for a game! O.O I would like to hear a sample of your drumming, as I am a drumming fan....if there is such a thing.

@Chaze007: Lol, thanks! What he means, for those who don't know already, is that I VA as Reaper and Illuse!

@Winkio: I want to be a joat too! Things aren't really going well though (I'm either too lazy to learn, the learning is rough, or I just don't have the time.) The game I'm working on now, Forae: A New Beginning, needs a graphic artist. I would like to see some of your work as well, if you are interested. Also, lesson four will come sometime between now and tomorrow, so hopefully that will help you!

Hmmm...Maybe I'll do lesson 3.5 first then four...gotta go to work soon though, so, yeah, stay tuned. :<_<:

no prob, i'll send a sample of my drumming tuesday. also iv only just started using midi i use sibalius but its not the same as playin the instument.
