How should the problem be solved?

Not at all, it's good as it is! #$%&1
4 (20%)
Make a membergroup which can see the SPAM section and allow people to enter or leave that group.
8 (40%)
Completely cut off SPAM, make it a place for junk only and make a separate section for "Random Entertainment".
5 (25%)
Delete the stupid posts in the topics. If they are so pointless and annoying, it should bother nobody.
8 (40%)
Just lock topics that become too idiotic.
15 (75%)
Remove SPAM from the topics that are displayed in the "Show new posts since last visit" section.

It's not just one quote, there are a couple of topics which have the same posts in a row. O.o It wasn't against you directly.

Regardless, I'm glad that you actually realized yourself that you've gotten highly repetetive. It really isn't interesting anymore. I hope you're full of new ideas now. :)

Well, since this might result in a change of the entire situation, it might not even be necessary to do anything. I'll see when I have the time to apply the solution with most votes anyway. I could simply add an option your profile and edit some of the forum's scripts to allow you to change this option. I'll see if it's necessary.

I thought so too, made a Reality-show Esque game.

Blizz, I'm always full of ideas. however my paranoia sometimes makes me nervous bout stuffs I shouldnt... *punches wall* effin wall. *finds camera* SHIT!

Im pretty sure the new  :up: (smilies) are gonna be  :spam: ed alot.... so what if our forum becomes  :spam: ed with these new smilies :O_O:. We are just going to have to p00n those  :n00b: s. Like me. I just cant help myself :naughty:. They are just so much fun  :haha:.

The smileys are showing to be a minor cosmetic problem. I'm pretty sure the smiley set's height is higher than the text box's height, which is insane. If you can limit the smiley to some amount, then have a choice for all of them, that would be pretty good. :)

What's osu!? It's a rhythm game. Thought I should have a signature with a working rank. ;P It's now clickable!

Well i guess its not really a spam problem besides the fact that we have a bunch of smilies in our posts :wong:. so it isnt to bad :P. Yeh it just looks like im typing more

Well, FAX isn't really here and we aren't posting anything about our love with Ulta. I say we improved a bunch. I still feel we are in the aftermath of a bombing of some sort though...Don't know why.

Anyway, I think SPAM is handling out fine now. It's more dead, but that's okay. The content here is less FAX vs. Ulta and still more SPAM as usual. I think we're doing a good job.

Yeah.. I was trying to keep it alive for a while when Fax was gone but I just stopped after :D.  It got tiring? :^_^':

Here's an idea that wasn't on the poll (or maybe it was and I misunderstood :???: ):

Moderators can mark posts in a thread as spam.  When marked as spam, a note at the top of the post will have some sort of automated message/note from mod saying something along the lines of "this post has been marked as spam", and the orignial post would be spoilered.  Something like this:



This post has been marked as spam.

This is related to the SPAM section of this forum, not to the content of constructive posts around this forum. I'm sure we don't need to use anything like that considering there's not too much SPAM located around. But I'll take note, though deleting a completely unconstructive post would be much easier to do...xD

Also, this thread is old and I don't think that we need to discuss this any further as we kinda solved this problem.
