Alright, the more I think about this, the better the idea sounds.
so, give me a moment to prepare and get dramatic

*clears throat*

Dramatic: ShowHide
I CHALLENGE YOU, ZYLOS, TO A DUEL!


You versus me in a month-long game competition :D
Not so much winner take all, or proving who is better, but having fun and putting out two killer games for the general public.

Rules of the Duel:

  • You must use RMXP

  • No outside help, aside from Testers. (Resources don't count as external help, i.e. scripts, sprites, etc...)

  • Contest begins June 1st, and games must be submitted by June 30th

  • No re-using old games for the competition, obviously



any sort of game, any length, any scripts or resources, no holes barred.

Should you accept these terms, we will both have until the 1st to plot and plan and think, and then begin!
We also need Judges, impartial of course, so do sign up below.

lol, what happened to working on Momento Mori together?

Anyways, you realize that May is the last month of my semester? That means half of the month will be spent focusing on finals rather than a game. I agree that it's an awesome idea, but really bad timing. Make it June and you've got a deal.

ok, JUNE THEN!
And yeah, I was thinking about that, but Dio suggested this and it sounded like fun :P

I'll re-bump this at the end of May.

Aw, too bad. I bet it would be a funny anime from what I read in the wiki about Phoenix Wright. xD

Anyway, I hope you guys make two good games. Too bad we'll have to wait for at least two months until they are done. :/

Two high forces who have been partners challenge each other to a duel. Lovely scenario you guys bring up.

Whatever, I'll judge or something because life here hasn't been totally eventful at all. Or has it? It probably has, regardless.

Anyway, count me in. Let's see how this will go.
