Not much for introductions, so, just saying hello.  I've been using rm for a long time now and just recently stumbled across this forum.  Don't know how active I will be here, but I figured I could at least bring over some of my scripts when I get some free time.

Yeah, I picked up scripting in RPG Maker a while back just to learn a new language.  I am a software developer by day, but my Ruby code probably looks very C-ish to those who are more experienced in the language .  I've heard of Blizzard before, by means of his ABS script.  I don't usually get the time to make large systems like that, usually just menu scripts, smaller add-ons, etc.  I'll post a few tonight after I get back from dinner, though they are for VX and I see that most of the scripts here are for XP.

Just posting more scripts will not make you above average. It would just mean you have alot of scripts that are average level or below. To be above average the quality and how usefull it is would have to be far greater.

Quality > quantity

It would be like a spriter creating a bunch of bad sprites. And then another creating two REALLY good sprites. Would you rather use the all bad ones or the really good ones?

It's honestly better to let them rot instead of continue discussion.

...Of course, by me saying this, the conversation yet continues on, but let's please not post such things. There's usually a quick subject that spawns out of a Welcome Thread, but don't make it too long to make it into SPAM.
