What do you know about biological experiments?

well, I had some of the people good at that stuff do some research, they heard some rumors and such and speculation... but they couldn't find anything conclusive, and factually, I got nothin. however, rumorally, and speculatively some say that they'll be too unstable, and there DNA might just fall apart... others say humans must evolve using bio-experiments to graft the DNA of animals into humans, to allow for selected adaptations among different sects of people. however, thats about all i kno, what kind of Biological Experiments were you talking about?

I am just asking. I need a working Hover Bike and a portable Ice Cannon. If possible, I'd like to implement it into my own system. If this can't be done due to whatever reason, I'd like it integrated into the bike. Can you do that for me? Best if you can get one working with liquid nitrogen or liquid oxygen. Those can freeze very quickly and still last for a long time, so I don't have to reload the nitrogen or oxygen often.

Ice Cannon... This should be a nasty surprise the next time I meet those blobs...

I recommend you that you carry one around as well from now on.

Ray quickly rushed off, already scribbling down notes on a piece of paper.

L3X leaves off to the facility where he activated BioE to see if he can find out more without infecting himself with a virus again.

L3X arrives at the facility, the place looks pretty much untouched.

although he definitely sensed there was activity since he left.

not too long ago, not surprising, it was just a couple of days ago since he was here last, right?

time seemed to be flying by.

well, if L3X checked the clock overhead, it would be a tad bit more of a real statement.

if he did, he would notice that the hands on it were spinning at an alarmingly fast rate.

was L3X moving through time?

Something is wrong here... I should hurry in any case. I suppose that the activity since my last visit was actually BioE's awakening.

So L3X decides to enter the facility and search it through quickly again. He is able to check it all through and collect data within an hour. He leaves the facility and summarizes what he was able to find out additionally...

this is the moment things go seriously aury.

as L3X is about to leave, he notices that all around him are people, running around, doing there business, completely unaware of the android.

some were typing at a terminal, all of them presumably doing some important job, judging by how rushed and paniced everyone was.

they were all human.

What the...?! Who are you?!

he was completely ignored, and thats when one of the people walked right through him.

and then his optical sensors registered it.

they were holograms.

a hologram appeared next to L3X, and it was noticeable how the man the hologram depicted looked similar to Ray, the young child L3X had had a few encounters with.

L3X noticed another of the holograms that looked like the one next to him.

I am Farian Derelin, and I presume you are L3X? this was my lab, where i began developing the BioE, tell me, how did it turn out? oh, don't bother, I'm just ones and zeroes now by the time this reaches you. no, I didn't know you, L3X, were going to be here, all i knew was that whatever being, android or otherwise came here, I needed to leave them a message, and evidence, my wife was after me, you see.

this was a recording L3X was hearing, apparently.

my son, Ray, might be dead by now, but i hope he lives, and i know I'm going to be burning in hell because of what I'm doing here. L3X, did you help my children? anyway, I began videotaping and preparing holograms of every single action that took place here, however, the machinery can't be disturbed, so in order to get everything that happened here, audio, and video, you'll have to read the logs, and see all the maps and such, to find out what was where when and then match it up to the current moment in the hologram.

L3X probably got it early on, but it just became glaringly evident that now, L3X, and Kyle, whoever else decided to stumble in here, could watch and see just how the BioE was developed.

and maybe find out something about the Scords plan.

L3X continues to listen to the hologram...

look, L3X, look as my scientists run right through you and me, and watch as they walk through the machines some are working on so furiously, these people were my team while i was alive, I wish i could live to see BioE. no. I wish i could live to see Ray. I've been here since my son was born, the youngest of my children. I sent my daughter an android, you may have to exterminate that one too. L3X, I was told to make the BioE an emotionless vicious ruthless killer, the perfect weapon. I knew i was being used, I need vengeance, Ray can't know why the true reason I died is. though I suspect he's smart enough to figure it out on his own now.

and then, the last thing the Hologram of Farian said shocked L3X beyond anything before.

so, how's Kya? and how is Kyle doing? I hope they're fine, as well as the group. we all were used by the Scord. Kya was our finest. has she recovered yet? L3X, destroy the Scord.

What does this mean?! I don't understand... How can the hologram know about the present...? Maybe my data was uploaded on the facility's main computer while I was connected... I have a... a bad... feeling... How interesting... I've never experienced something like this before... I need to hurry back.

The holograms shut down slowly and L3X leaves the facility.

I must hurry back. They are in great danger, whatever that danger is...

L3X jumps onto the Hover Bike and drives with full speed back to the resistance's base.

aren't they called the Scord Scorchers?

L3X arrived at the base of the scord Scorchers, where Ray was waiting

the said child ran up to L3X.

we're about done with that Ice Cannon you asked for, and man, its cool.

Kyle walked up, looking upset.

L3X, follow me.

(That's why I typed "resistance" with a lower case letter. It's a resistance named Scord Scorchers. )

What is wrong? And how quickly can you intergrate the ice cannon into my system?

can't talk about it here, it has to od with Kya, and Farian, whom i assume you 'met' just now, someone noticed you were there when an unknown backup system was initiated. L3X, you do not understand the gravity of the situation, do you remember how Kya's arms and legs are always covered up? also, it's better to ask Ray about that.

but it was a tad too late to ask Ray that question just yet. the kid had already wandered off.

Kyle ducked into a tent, and L3X followed.

there, a man, one whom L3X did not recognize, sat on a chair.

Kya was standing on the other side of the room, looking about as happy as someone about to have there heart stabbed out, and shoved off a cliff thats a few dozen miles tall, while under a curse to suffer with the pain for days to come after the person splats against the ground.

yeah.

that bad.

what gave you the idea it was smart to go back to that facility?!

she shook her hands through her long white-silverish hair, in frustration.

Now the Scord will be all over us!

now, Kya, theres no way Lex could've known about the hologram system... although its good to know that we now can see how the Scord are developing these Biological weapons

Kya seemed to settle down a little bit.

L3X, meet Raphiel-Raph, things just got a lot more serious, the Scord undoubtedly discovered that, and now know you know more about there plans, and you are probably going to be hunted down, so, I did some searching, and found this guy, almost starved to death, I know he's young, but he's quite skilled with his weapons.

call me when I'm needed, as in, after the introduction, I'm going to blow off some steam.

Kya walked out the tent entrance, and started shouting to some of the Scord Scorchers, something about a training battle, or somethin.

I just hope she doesn't kill them.
