Hey,
I started browsing this site within the past few days, looking for new resources and scripts for RMXP. I must say, there is quite a wide range of things here. Anyway, I've recently (within the past 2-3 months) started using RMXP, and have been looking for new scripts/resources for a small game I'm making called "The Coming Storm". I don't know any scripting for RMXP (or any sort of game for that matter), but am always willing to learn. If you think you can help me with this, or anything else RMXP related, please either add me to MSN ( J_Papelbon2009@hotmail.com ), AIM ( peopleeater08 ), or on Facebook. Also, if you have any tutorials that might help me, could you please post a link here?

Well, cool, welcome to the site and all that stuff ;) As for learning, you're in the same boat as a few of the new people here. We're willing to help... unless it's already been answered and you didn't search enough... etc, etc.

are you aware the you game tile reminds me of a book title? specifically part of the 12 wheel of time book?

Lol, apparently it reminds people of a lot of things...I admit, not the most original name, but at least the name isn't TOO lame, right? :P

Anyways, I appreciate the warm welcome, I can tell that this is a great community just from the response to my first post :)

At least your title can bring intrigue or suspense. Hopefully it has some action in it that will satisfy that.

Welcome! There's not really any tutorials you can really see except for experimenting yourself and then possibly evaluating your skills somewhere (Comparing it to a professional RMXP game, whatever). Take a gander at the Tutorials section anyway though.

What's osu!? It's a rhythm game. Thought I should have a signature with a working rank. ;P It's now clickable!
Still Aqua's biggest fan (Or am I?).

Levels are there for absolutely nothing. Sometimes, people will randomly level you up or down, but nobody really cares. xD
Actually, you get a level up when people think you made a good post and a level down when you act like a douchebag.^^

So anyways, welcome to my forums.

There are 2 links underneath the level, not sure if you can see them though, perhaps you first need some posts.

You need at least 10 posts to be able to level up/down somebody.

Level = Karma~

Don't worry if you're not so great at RMXP yet. Once you get a basic grasp on the system, as long as you have an engrossing story or interesting gameplay you can easily pull players in. (And by the latter, minimal at least is no fatal bugs ;) )

Rule 2: ShowHide
