Weird bug in the Game.exe

I've noticed that even thought you close it sometimes the process keeps running in a hidden state. and if it keeps running it can start to consume MASSIVE amounts of CPU with out doing any thing.

I didn't notice that the process was still there one time and after three hours it was taking up 98% of my CPU (according to the process list) not only that but a normal end process command won't get rid of it you have to kill it.

I just thought I would point it out and say that perhaps we need find a way to be sure the process gets killed.

NOTE that this has happened in both Windows and Ubuntu

I think it could be a custom script's fault. That never happened to me and I've been working in RMXP for almost 4 years now.

hmm well perhaps it is just me, or i'm geting confused and it is another process under the same name that is doing it

What kind of project are you running Game.exe on? (i.e. a New Project or a Project with a load of scripts?)

stupid question: does that happen when you run directly the game.exe or when you use it throught the editor?

I can't tell as it seem to happen randomly and I've only had it happen three time in that last two years
