so to day at school wew were supposed to have a bomb threat evac drill.
guess what happened.

two minuets before the drill was suppose to happen an announcement cam on about the drill being canceled and that we were going into a soft lock-down (all the teacher close the doors and no one is allowed to leave but class goes on as normal.) then five minutes latter the announcements cam on again and we continued with the bod evac drill as planed. or so we thought... when we arrived at our designated evac point (a building 500 yards away), we were informed that there had been a REAL bomb threat delivered to the police at 9:58 am (about 20 minuets ago at the time). the bomb threat encompassed our school the middle school five blocks away, the local collage, and the court house. we were then kept in that gym size room room for the rest of the day (until 3:40 pm). at which time we could go home. we red cross disaster relief people showed up and we were given watter bottles and a piece of pizza form Pizza Hut or Domino's for lunch, my piece would of satisfied a three year old child. oh and I was forced to leave all my stuff in the room as is standard for evac drills so i was locked in a room with 1500 other people and a deck of cards some one had in their pocket for entertainment for about 5 and a half hours.

I start to question how prepared our town really is for disasters. because while the gave the appearance of having everything under control you could tell that it was real chaos out side that gym we were stuck in...

I piety the fool who made the threats... actually I don't. he will get what he deserves.

I love the irony of getting a bomb threat on the same day we were having a bomb drill.

You have atrocious writing. I corrected it in respect to grammar and spelling for the sake of everyone else, but thoroughly review the organization of the ideas; those questions are basically strings of useless and opinionated info.

To address your story now, I don't mind missing school so why are you complaining. XD

Yeah, it sucked, but that's the point.  You aren't supposed to be having fun when there is a bomb threat.

Ryex

I was confined to a small gym with more than 1500 other people. given a pint size piece of pizza. and deprived of entertainment.

as for my writing. the only reason it is a jumble is I just wrote the thing. I didn't care about how it was organized I just wanted it out of my head.
as for havv=ing fun that was not really what I was getting at

THIS was

I also forgot to say that about 100 of the kids tried to bum rush one of the doors and get out, they were stopped by one teacher and the doors were guarded there after.

mainly I find the whole thing ironic and stupid (on the threatener's part not the reaction to the threat)

What the hell is the point of a bomb threat building? Won't all the bastards know that they should blow that up, too?

Ryex

that's what I thought, especially since the building is 500 YARDS AWAY!

Blizzard

Bomb threats usually aren't there to kill people but to scare them, to do material damage and to get attention. Only in movies there are bomb threats to actually kill people.
In any case, some crazy shit you got there. o.o;

The bomb threat was directed at our school, the middle school five blocks away, the local collage, and the court house. We were then kept in the bomb building, basically a gym-sized room, for the rest of the day, which ended at 3:40 PM, at which time we could go home. When the Red Cross Disaster Relief people showed up, we were given watter bottles and a piece of pizza from Pizza Hut or Domino's for lunch; my piece would have satisfied a three-year-old child, I believe. Oh, I was also forced to leave all my stuff in the room (as is standard for evacuation drills,) so I was locked in a room for about 5 and a half hours with 1500 other people and a deck of cards for entertainment that someone had in their pocket.

I'm not complaining about anything. it is a GOOD thing that they had a plan to deal with such a situation in the first flace, most places don't. I wanted to be able to make those three points and have people understand why I made them...

I just fond it ironic that the first ever bomb drill they every tried they got a bomb threat on the same day.

so all that stuff about complaining about the conditions in which you were kept for 5 hours for most of the thread wasn't really complaining?

also ever considered it wasn't really a drill to start?
