Super Smash Bros. Brawl

yep, Brawl was the last truly great game for the Wii.  sadly enough, i haven't played brawl in months.  It's boring playing only with yourself or friends that always use the same characters and styles.  And online always lags.  The original (N64) is much more fun to play with my friends because you can't do the same strategy with every character (the air dodge/a-air or the specials) - there's more variance and more specialization.  Brawl was good for a game, but it just doesn't hold one's attention unless you and your friends play it a LOT.

this place i go to on tuesdays has a nice Brawl Tournament, i never got past the second rond, but im planning on soon winning a tourney.

anyway, id be interested in a Brawlie Tourney.

I was better at the N64 one . Link FTW . Dont like him in Brawl! But like Winko said... unless you face different people or w.e it gets kinda boring.

Precisely. Fighting against the same, same, people, same matches, is boring unless you're training for an impending event of awesomeness.

Brawl somehow makes a good fighting game for tournaments when it clearly shouldn't from the imbalances. Sakurai easily made a great game, but the third time isn't ever the charm in cases of sequels...Except for Mario Bros., that was a classic.

I prefer Ike to Marth. I had to get a slow character, to make sure I have atleast one at my disposal. to my surprise after a weekend of training with the guy i didnt suck and now am better with him on some days than i am with Kirby.

For my heavy I use Wolf..Not a heavy but I'm decent with him.....If you think Zelda's a heavy then I'm also a Zelda player Her smashes merit heavy status xD

I laugh if you consider Zelda a heavy character, since if so, then Zelda's been packin' on the pounds...My oh my.

If I were to choose a Heavy Character, it would be Ike or Ganondorf. Hate that the so called King of Evil's all nerfed up, it's a giant shame...:/

my friend was usin ganon to fight a dedede. he was getting pwnt. so on his last life, and the other second to last, he did a suicide and got them both. i mean, he did the over b in midair over a deadly fall.

I have this stage where theres two go throughable platforms, too far for most characters to jump across too, and two large wheels directly above them, which is where the fighting is too take place.

well. this one time me and a bunch of friend played there. we had smash balls out.

I was Ike.

you can see where this is going.

there was empty space between the wheels and platforms. its on the largest possible stage setting.

I got the FS.

I was on my last life.

I got someone with the FS.

we both died via falling. when Ike brought his sword down for the trip thats suppesed to smash the enemy in to the ground.

Probably a middle ranged character in terms of weight and such. He's the slowest human (Ganon doesn't really count as a human...), or at least that's what I remembered from some source I read. I wouldn't consider him so heavy because he can be nimble when he needs to be (He's just slow acting from all the stealth and the tight clothing I bet), but I wouldn't consider him agile because of his slowness...:/

Um... hes pretty nimble! He might not have sprinting speed but im pretty sure he can sholder roll out of the way  ! Hes a stealth kinda character anyways... not good for 1v1 imo.

Yeah, in my experiences Snake is always better when you can catch your opponents by suprise.
He's a serious "hit and run" style char, so if your opponent is able to just charge at you w/out distraction, the odds are stacked against you.
Of course, he can be utilized in a straightfoward style if your enemy has high enough damage...

 Of course, Fox is amazing in 1v1 battles, and should be recognized for that. Sheik is fun to use as well, and toon link really plants the hurt on the enemies with his...sword..plant...

Lol... thats exactly how i use snake xD. Hit then run my ass off then hit them again  . Works sometimes if i time it right but if not i get rocked hard.
