yeah, I don't play with items at all, because they are way overpowered in brawl.  Just clean combat on a normal stage (normal meaning there is nothing that can hurt you and the stage doesn't move (although platforms can))  I just started playing again and wow, metaknight really is op.  the combos are just... devastating once you master them.

Eh, I need to play with some more competitive people.  i always 3-stock lvl 9s (in a 3 stock game, but that isn't very hard) and I only have one friend who is good.

Are friend matches un-laggy yet? (the wifi ones)

That depends on the internet connections of the players and the distance... I think... lol

Mmm... when I played with Star, all the way across the country, it rarely lagged.
Then when I played with Ulta, only a few states away, it almost never lagged.

It shouldn't matter with distance unless it's totally far away or something. Internet connection (Or your Internet Service Provider) would be the best source. I played someone in the Midwest area, it was lag-fest all the way. I'd have to assume his wireless or my wireless stunk. Maybe distance is a possible factor that is taken with Internet Connection, who knows.

And Aqua, I despise those.

I don't play as competitively anymore. I play leisurely, just choosing Random and seeing what happens, or taking the request. Last time I played was two months ago I think with UltaFlame. Some funs there, with just lag being a factor Ulta couldn't tolerate...

You know you can easily make quite the number of enemies depending on the tactics you decide on during battle.

For the dull-headed, what I mean here is that doing cheap dirty tactics that are purely blatant of exploiting and nothing related to skill is totally...um...not the way to go. Of course, same goes for button mashing, but it's harder to button mash in Brawl than...say Marvel vs. Capcom.

Personally I find Pit's spinning hya-ya-yaa move one of those. And overuse of Ike's aether. O_O
